Samba de Amigo Party Central Digital Deluxe Edition

SEGA today revealed a final release date and digital editions. The game is due out exclusively for Switch on August 29, 2023.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central will have a Digital Deluxe Edition on the Switch eShop. It includes the following:

Alien: Isolation physical

It’s taken quite some time, but Alien: Isolation is finally receiving the physical treatment on Switch.

Alongside the standard version, there’ll be a couple of special editions. With the VHS Classic Edition, buyers will receive a VHS-style box and slipcover alongside a steelbook and copy of the game. Also planned is the Collection Collector’s Edition featuring the VHS Classic Edition contents, plus a poster, soundtrack, and model of the Sevastopol Space Station.

Sonic Frontiers story DLC Ian Flynn

Ian Flynn is back on board with Sonic Frontiers for the game’s story DLC. That news comes directly from Flynn, who shared the news on Twitter.

Director Morio Kishimoto handled the events and key details. After that, it was Flynn’s responsibility “to flesh it out.” He added that “the team is extremely hard-working and ambitious,” and “the DLC will be truly important.”

Samba de Amigo: Party Central first songs

SEGA today announced the first round of songs set to be included in Samba de Amigo: Party Central. The Switch title will feature music from popular artists like Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jonas Brothers, and many more.

Two Point Campus Spring 2023 update 6.0

Two Point Campus has unveiled a new Spring 2023 update, otherwise known as version 6.0. It’s live on most platforms but isn’t quite ready to go on Switch.

New point is included here, ranging from a special Challenge Mode Level to a Bunny Ears hat for staff and students. Obviously there’s a bit of an Easter theme going on.

The patch notes for the Two Point Campus Spring 2023 version 6.0 update are as follows:

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles sales

SEGA announced today that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles has shipped over three million copies worldwide. That number is based on all physical version copies shipped, including limited-edition packages, and all digital version copies sold. As is usually the case with these types of announcements, SEGA did not provide a breakdown by platform.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles saw its initial release in October 2021. A Switch version followed last June.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles can currently be purchased on Switch both physically and digitally.

SEGA E3 2023

E3 was intended to make its grand return this year with its first in-person event since 2019, but there is reason to wonder if it will still be happening after more publishers such as SEGA are confirming that they won’t be present.

Yesterday, Ubisoft said it would be skipping E3. We also know that Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox won’t be involved. As far as SEGA, the company stated: “After careful consideration, we have decided not to participate in E3 2023 as an exhibitor. We look forward to sharing more information on announced and unannounced projects in the future.”
