Several guest characters are joining Runbow, 13AM Games’ upcoming Wii U eShop exclusive. The lineup includes Shovel Knight, Rusty (SteamWorld Dig), Juan and Tostada (Guacamelee), Swift Thornebrooke (Sportsball), Scram Kitty (Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails), and Bit.Trip’s CommanderVideo and CommandgirlVideo.

Runbow is due out on the Wii U eShop sometime in Q3 of this year.

In this almost two-hour podcast you can expect to hear excerpts from all of the soundtracks that made the list with commentary from myself and those who sent in their thoughts. Shovel Knight is playable in Road Redemption, developer DarkSeas Games has revealed. You can check out a trailer showing Yacht Club Games’ character in action below.

In other news, DarkSeas said in a new Kickstarter update that the team is “still working hard” on porting Road Redemption to various platforms, including Wii U. A release date is still unknown.

Total Shovel Knight sales have surpassed 300,000 units, Yacht Club Games has announced. That number is across all available platforms – Wii U, 3DS, and PC.

Yacht Club wrote on Twitter:

Yacht Club revealed back in August that Shovel Knight had sold 180,000 copies in its first month.

According to a message posted on Nintendo’s Twitter account, a 3DS theme for Shovel Knight is launching in North America this week. This will be the same “International Theme” also slated for Europe. It’s due out on November 27 – this Thursday.
