The first screenshots of Fear Effect Reinvented – a remake of the original PlayStation game – have been posted online. We have the set below.
Fear Effect Reinvented will be playable for the first time at Paris Games Week starting tomorrow. It’s possible that we’ll get our first proper footage, so we’ll be on the lookout for any gameplay videos.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima can now be pre-loaded on the Japanese eShop. To download the game, 10.7GB of free space is required. Other regions should follow with pre-loading soon.

When I had my first random encounter with the original Dragon Quest Builders (DQB), I was ready to add it to the stack of other Minecraft clones that were all melting into one. I decided to fire up the demo anyway, and luckily I did because what the game boiled down to was liquid metal fun. Though my time with the game was great, some areas were a little under-leveled. Luckily for us, Square Enix has been on the grind to level up the DQB short comings. There is a lot to cover here, so find a House of Healing, save that game, and prepare for a stack of Dragon Quest Builders 2 facts that will have you ready to rocket into the next game.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 includes new Builder Puzzles challenges

Dragon Quest Builders 2 has added another element to differentiate itself from the first game in the series. Builder Puzzles are found in ruins all throughout the world. Here is more detail courtesy of Gematsu’s translation of Weekly Jump:
Mining with Ruffians
The protagonist visits Occulm Island in search of metal. Together with ruffians that specialize in mining, go on a grand adventure in the underground mines spread across the island! Break through blocked paths and broken tracks.
Solve Builder Puzzles Scattered Throughout the World
In Dragon Quest Builders 2, there are ruins all throughout the world where players can challenge “Builder Puzzles” that call for the power of a builder. If you solve the various puzzles of each ruin, something good may happen.

Originally a Wii game, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon is making its way to the Switch. This time around, the game boasts a 2-player mode that is for “Every Buddy” and if you don’t have a friend an NPC will accompany you on your voyage into the dungeons. There is plenty more that is new to this version and some questions that remained unanswered. A demo for Dragon Quest Builders 2 was announced during a presentation for the game in Japan today. While there’s no word yet on a release date, it should be available sometime before the December 20 launch.
Square Enix is currently concentrating on finishing the main game. After that, the team will move forward on the demo’s development.
