Cruis'n Blast interview

Ahead of Cruis’n Blast’s launch on Switch this month, we’re publishing a new developer interview with series creator Eugene Jarvis. Jarvis had much to say about putting the racer on the console, including how this new version came to be, why it’s an exclusive, and whether we could see online play supported in the future.

Our full discussion can be read in full below.

no more heroes 3 open world

No More Heroes 3 returns to the open world concept introduced with the series’ first entry. In a recent interview, director Suda51 explained about why this feature has come back.

Fans may recall that No More Heroes 2 abandoned the free roaming sections entirely. For No More Heroes 3 though, players now have a sort of open world to explore once again. Suda51 told Gamereactor that he personally missed Santa Destroy, and it was a top request from fans.

Suda51’s full words:

A new month rolled right on in this week. Now that we’re in September, we want to know what you’ve been playing.

There’s no question that No More Heroes 3 has been a major highlight for Switch having released last Friday. Other notable August games include Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle, Axiom Verge 2, Slime Rancher, Quake, and Spelunky 1 and 2. Have you picked up any of these games? No matter the case, let us know in the comments below.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is coming to Switch, Nintendo has announced. The game will launch on December 3.

If the Big Brain Academy name sounds familiar, that’s because Nintendo made two games in the series many years ago – one for DS, and another for Wii. The new multiplayer party game for Switch will let players “go brain-to-brain with others in a series of fun, family-friendly activities that are sure to test your wits, as well as your reflexes.”

Here’s a ton of additional information:

Monkey Ball suezo

Monster Rancher’s Suezo will be playable in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania as one of the game’s many characters, it’s been announced. It will be available as post-launch DLC. Koei Tecmo teamed up with SEGA for the collaboration.

Today’s announcement follows the news that Hello Kitty will be joining the game as well.

Thanks to SEGA, we have the following information about the partnership:
