LEGO The Incredibles

Warner Bros. recently announced LEGO The Incredibles, and it’s heading to Switch in Japan. Insider managed to obtain a few details since then. The site goes over how long the project has been in development for and gameplay tidbits, and shares some developer comments from TT Games executive producer Nick Ricks.

Here’s the roundup of information:

LEGO The Incredibles was rumored earlier this year. Then a few days ago, the game was unintentionally outed through a LEGO set instruction booklet.

Just for further confirmation, Amazon Canada is now listing LEGO The Incredibles. Unfortunately though, the page doesn’t have any information about the game. The only interesting takeaway is the June 15 release date. That could be nothing more than a placeholder (usually these retailer dates are), but it would make a ton of sense to launch LEGO The Incredibles alongside The Incredibles 2 – which is slated for June 15.

Since Amazon Canada’s listing has now appeared, we’re counting on an official announcement regarding LEGO The Incredibles very soon.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today the release of the Cloak & Dagger Character and Level Pack, the new DLC for LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2. The pack, available for $2.99, adds a level and characters straight from the comics in celebration of Marvel Television’s upcoming series Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, premiering on Freeform on Thursday, June 7, 2018.

Set immediately after Cloak and Dagger gain their incredible powers, players must help the two escape their evil captor, his super powered henchman, and work together through a series of puzzles using their unique new abilities. Upon completing the level, new unlockable characters Cloak, Dagger, Mister Negative, Blackout, Shroud, Nightmare, and Silvermane add to the main game’s roster of over 200 Super Heroes and Super Villains.

The LEGO Incredibles was rumored earlier this year. Now thanks to the LEGO Juniors Incredibles 2 sets, we can say that it’s happening.

These new sets are appearing at retailers ahead of their official launch. On the back of the instructions booklet, an image is included for the LEGO The Incredibles game, which has not been officially announced.

LEGO The Incredibles is coming to Switch and other platforms. It should arrive later this year. Warner Bros. should be making the news official in the not too distant future, so stay tuned for details.
