Ubisoft is shutting down online services for a number of Wii U / Wii games as of today. In a statement posted on the company’s forums, it was noted that ending services for older games with a smaller audience will allow the IT and service staff to focus on newer and more popular titles.

The lineup of affected Nintendo titles is as follows:

Ubisoft has come out with a few Switch games thus far. The publisher got things started several months ago with Just Dance 2017. That was followed up with the big release Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Rayman Legends Definitive Edition, Just Dance 2018, and this week’s digital title Uno.

Ubisoft commented on the status of Switch during its financial call this past week. CEO Yves Guillemot said that the company is “very happy” with sales on the console and said that more games are on the way. Guillemot didn’t specify if his comment referred to the calendar year or fiscal year, but regardless, we can expect more stuff soon.

This past week, Ubisoft brought Monopoly to Switch. We have the game’s official launch trailer attached below.

When Rayman Legends Definitive Edition came to Switch, its performance wasn’t in the best shape. Fortunately, Ubisoft has been working on the game since and has released a patch. A new update just went live this week.

The new Rayman Legends Definitive Edition specifically addresses the game’s performance. According to Ubisoft, it “reduces loading times between levels and fixes frame rate-related issues as well.”

Did you purchase Monopoly on Switch this past week? If so, you may have encountered a significant issue with loading.

Kotaku reports that simply booting Monopoly up can take anywhere from five to 10 minutes. Starting a fresh match against AI players can take another five to 10 minutes, or possibly more. That’s not good.

Uno is heading to Switch next week in Japan, a listing on the eShop reveals. Ubisoft will be publishing the game on November 7. Pricing is set at 1,296 yen.

You’ll be able to play with up to four players either locally or online. Support for Switch’s touchscreen is also included.

Below are a few screenshots that also show off Rayman and Rabbids themes:

Uno for Switch was first made known through a PEGI listing, so it should be available soon in North America and Europe soon as well. But if you just can’t wait, English will be supported, so you shouldn’t have any issues if you purchase it from the Japanese eShop.
