Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Nintendo has prepared a full-length North American commercial for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. We have the advert below.

Vandham, leader of a mercenary band, was shown off on the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Twitter this time around as well as his blade Suzaku. Vandham is voiced by Tesshou Genda and his blade is voiced by Takahiro Fujimoto. You can check out both characters in the Tweet down below.


We’re getting ever closer to the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on December 1st. Three separate ads for the game are now airing on Japanese TV, and Nintendo has handily compiled them into a single video, which you can find below. The first ad focuses on the world and the various areas you can explore, the second one focuses on Rex and Pyra and the third one is all about the various adversaries you’ll face.

Another 2 rare blades have graced Xenoblade Chronicles 2, this time we have the aqua lance user Mikumari who you can see in the art and video in the first two tweets down below. She was designed by CHOCO and voiced by Ayane Sakura. And then we have Seori, who is in the last two tweets. She is also designed by CHOCO and voiced by Ayako Kawasumi.

VGMO has a noteworthy interview with composer Yasunori Mitsuda. Along with his work on Kid Icarus: Uprising, Mitsuda also discussed the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Mitsuda spoke about how Kid Icarus: Uprising was a bit hectic due to the various composers involved. He also faced the challenge of “managing the budget and schedule” as well as making sure that the stage music syncs with the action.

Nintendo of Japan has just cut the ribbon on the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 website. Though it is 100% in Japanese, translations can be found online.

Nintendo updated the Japanese Xenoblade Chronicles 2 website with plenty of new battle footage. We’ve gathered all of the clips in the video below.

Game Informer recently went hands-on with Xenoblade Chronicles 2. As part of that, the site spoke with a couple of developers. Executive director Tetsuya Takahashi and producer Koh Kojima both had some rather interesting things to say about the big RPG and more. The two discussed Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s change in art style, teases pertaining to relations to past Xeno games, the size of the world, how long it’ll be, and Monolith Soft’s future.

As was mentioned in today’s Direct, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 can now be pre-loaded on the Switch eShop. Two options are live.

You can either go with the base game or a digital bundle with the Expansion Pass. The two are priced at $60 and $90 respectively.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will take up 13GB digitally.
