Following the announcement of Picross S8, which will launch on Switch eShop next week on September 29, Jupiter have announced today that previous titles in the Picross series will receive software updates for touch screen support and 4-player simultaneous play on Switch.

It has been announced that Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Europe will be able to try The Jackbox Party Pack 3 for free as part of the latest Switch Online Game Trial. Like other Switch Online Game Trials, players who hold a Nintendo Switch Online subscription will be able to play the entirety of the game’s content for the duration of the trial, which is scheduled to go live on September 28. A new software update is now available for SD Gundam Battle Alliance, providing an extensive number of bug fixes, as well as unlocking higher levels for Mobile Suits, Pilots, and Partners, up to level 100. Full patch notes can be found below:

Splatoon 3 has been out for two weeks this coming Friday, and Nintendo have shared a new video of the game. Titled “Fresh Inkling’s guide”, this is aimed at players unfamiliar with the series, and goes over gameplay features and objectives.

Developer Buffcorp and publisher Digerati have announced that Super Buff HD will be coming to Switch eShop next year. Described as a “skate-surf FPS” the game places a particular emphasis on mobility as you make your way through its various stages aiming for the highest score possible.

Developer Yookond and publisher RedDeerGames have announced that League of Enthusiastic Losers will be coming to Switch via the eShop at the end of this week, on September 23. Described as a “reflective adventure game”, it follows two friends searching for treasure in an attempt to clear their debts.

To celebrate the Pokemon Masters Tournament in the anime, Ash’s current team is being distributed via event code for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Despite it being targeted in Japan, it seems players worldwide can take advantage. Whilst Ash’s Sirfetch’d will remain live until September 22, Ash’s Lucario is now being distributed for the next two weeks.

The creature comes in at level 80 and has the moves Aura Sphere, Bullet Punch, Reversal, and Steel Beam. It has the ability Inner Focus.

Details of two new characters for Dragon Ball: The Breakers have surfaced as part of a TGS presentation. The first, Majin Buu, will be a Raider in the game, and the second, The Farmer, will be a Survivor. Both were shown off in a new trailer, which interested players can see below:

A new trailer has appeared for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes as part of the 505 Games TGS presentation, giving players a glimpse at the game’s combat as well as its Japanese voice acting.
