Quite a bit is happening in Splatoon 2 tomorrow. The Pearl and Marina amiibo are finally being released and the game will also be updated to version 3.2.0. We don’t have the full English patch notes yet, but as always this update contains quite a few multiplayer balance changes. There are also several bug fixes and adjustments for the Octo Expansion.

Nintendo also revealed some new content coming to the game in a future update. First up is a new stage, Ancho-V Games:

Nelke and the Legendary Alchemists, a spin-off game in the Atelier series, was announced for Nintendo Switch last month. Today, Dengeki has confirmed that the game will be released in Japan on November 1st this year. 

A Western release of the game hasn’t been announced as of yet.

Pokemon Duel is set to receive a minor balance patch tomorrow. A couple of figures and their abilities are being changed a bit:

Shaymin Sky Forme:

  • Dodge wheel size increased
  • Seed Flare, Quick Attack and Dazzling Gleam wheel size decreased

Lurantis

  • Green Power ability’s effect increased from +2 to +5 for each Grass-type Pokemon on the field

Marth is an exceptional swordfighter with a long reach. He’ll do the most damage with attacks using the tip of his sword, so spacing is an important factor.

The final Super Smash Blog update for this week is another look at a returning veteran: Pokemon Trainer.

Microids announced today that a remaster of 3D platformer Asterix & Obelix XXL 2, based on the popular comics franchise, will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 29 this year. Also, a new game in the franchise, Asterix & Obelix XXL 3, will be released in late 2019.

There will also be two special editions: the limited edition includes the game and three figures of Asterix, Obelix and Dogmatix.
