A major 1.1.2 update has gone out for Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon. It includes new accessibility options, bug fixes, quality of life improvements, two combatants, and more.

Paper Cut Mansion

Publisher Thunderful and Space Lizard Studio today unveiled Paper Cut Mansion, a roguelite horror title that takes place in a handcrafted world. The project will be appearing on Switch later in 2022.

Paper Cut Mansion will have players exploring the mansion floor by floor, solving puzzles, battling enemies, and completing quests. New abilities can be unlocked along the way to help them get further on runs and solve the game’s main mystery.

After an investigation into auto-renewal practices by the Competition and Markets Authority, Nintendo has made a change to Nintendo Switch Online. Going forward, the service will no longer be sold with automatic renewal set as the default option. Users will now need to turn it on manually after signing up.

Live A Live Prehistory

Square Enix is offering a new look at the Live A Live remake for Switch with two new trailers showing Prehistory and Imperial China.

In the RPG, players can experience seven stories featuring a variety of protagonists, time periods, and gameplay styles. Each one can be experienced in any order. Other stories include The Wild West, Twilight of Edo Japan, Present Day, The Near Future, and The Distant Future.

Rotund Zero

Dahku is putting Rotund Rebound on Switch this week, and it turns out that Rotund Zero will also be releasing shortly after. Fans can pick it up on April 21, 2022.

Rotund Zero is a “byte-sized retro-infused experience” inspired by the Game Boy classics of old. The title has short levels, but they’re all handcrafted and offer precision-platforming. Time-Attack is also included where players can win shiny medals.

A few interesting job listings recently popped up on Bandai Namco’s website involving what appears to be a remaster or remake of a 3D action game in collaboration with Nintendo.

The first posting is for a planner, which explicitly mentions how the project is a 3D action game contracted by Nintendo. Similar language is then brought up on a page regarding Bandai Namco’s search for a visual artist. For the final listing, we see the first mention of the title being a remaster / remake, with the staffer required to work on HD remastering of 3D backgrounds.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Shez Arval

Following today’s new trailer, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has received more details pertaining to characters Shez and Arval (English name TBA). These tidbits were posted on the official Japanese Twitter account.

Evil Dead The Game survivor demon

Game Informer has a month-long window of exclusive coverage for Evil Dead: The Game, and is kicking things off today with a look at survivor and demon gameplay.

When you’re playing as a survivor, you’ll need to loot up and complete objectives before battling The Dark Ones. A lot of the action comes down to gearing up and going after loot scattered across the map.

Bugsnax physical

Bugsnax, which was just announced for Switch today, has already been confirmed for physical release. Fangamer has announced plans to produce a boxed version of the game on Nintendo’s console.

Each copy of Bugsnack for Switch will contain a copy of the game, activity sheet, sticker sheet, field guide, and discount on Fangamer merchandise.
