Butcher physical

After it was previously distributed through the Switch eShop, Butcher is now getting a physical release. Red Art Games has announced a new partnership with Crunching Koalas and Transhuman Design on the boxed edition.

Butcher first launched for Switch in September 2017.

Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins, a mystery game featuring the terrifying Weeping Angels that was made by the developers of Sara Is Missing, recently saw its debut on Switch and other platforms. We’re now celebrating its release with a special giveaway.

One lucky reader will win a special edition Switch. The dock is wrapped in a skin featuring key art from Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins, as pictured above.

To The Rescue delayed

To The Rescue! has a new release window on Switch, as the heartfelt dog shelter management simulator has been delayed to Q1 2022 on the platform. Publisher Freedom Games and developer Little Rock Games shared the news while announcing a November 4 launch date for the PC version today.

Gang Beasts gameplay

Gang Beasts, a multiplayer party game from developer Boneloaf, is about to make its debut on Switch and we now have some gameplay. 20 minutes of footage has come in.

Switch Online N64 60Hz

Despite speculation to the contrary, N64 games for Nintendo Switch Online won’t be forced to run at 50Hz in Europe and will instead support a smoother, preferable 60Hz.

Fans have concerned about how N64 titles would be presented on the console following the most recent Nintendo Direct. In the presentation, European PAL footage was shown to announce the news. N64 games in North America always ran at 60Hz back in the day which was the preferable option since the 50Hz versions can leave a slower experience and different screen size.

Space Crew Legendary Edition

Publisher Curve Digital and developer Runner Duck today unveiled a major Legendary Edition expansion for Space Crew, their intergalactic crew management strategy games. Switch players can access the new content this month.

The expansion includes new content like the Android Ambush campaign and Away Team missions. It also comes with a new star-system to explore with new missions as well as a range of special features and gameplay experiences.

Slice of Life gameplay

Slice of Life, Smallrave Entertainment’s story-driven tennis game, has received a new batch of gameplay. The title just arrived on Nintendo’s console a few days ago.

Shin Megami Tensei V

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Shin Megami Tensei V is still the top Switch title while Metroid Dread ends its run at #7.

Atlus has returned with another demon trailer for Shin Megami Tensei V, with the latest update highlighting Barong. It was first featured in Megami Tensei on the Famicom.
