Miitopia

Nintendo has ported quite a few of its previous games to Switch, but not many probably would have predicted that Miitopia would get a second shot on the system. Yet earlier this week, it was announced that the 3DS title is returning on the Big N’s current console. Although it’s largely the same RPG as it was on 3DS, the Switch version will have some additional elements like makeup and wigs for Mii customization.

What might be even more interesting about Miitopia on Switch is the developer behind it. Apparently, the porting task has been given to Grezzo. That’s according to the official UK website, which credits the studio alongside Nintendo.

Skyclimbers

Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, Paratope’s city building/open-world action RPG Skyclimbers is coming to Switch. The game has demolished its $25,000 funding goal, with the total amount approaching $200,000.

Here’s an overview of Skyclimbers, along with a trailer:

Blizzard Arcade Collection

Yesterday, Blizzard surprised fans with the announcement and release of Blizzard Arcade Collection. Get a look at some footage in the video below.

Blizzard Arcade Collection is out now on Switch via the eShop.

No More Heroes

The original No More Heroes has been updated on Switch. Version 1.1.1 seems to have one purpose: to restore the missing K-Entertainment music track.

The No More Heroes Switch port also removed the Heavenly Star tune, which came down to licensing. Regarding the K-Entertainment track, it seems that this was a somewhat innocuous removal. Marvelous and Engine Software have now restored it – Heavenly Star is unlikely to return though.

Dinosaur Planet - Star Fox Adventures

Star Fox Adventures ended up having a bit of an unconventional development history. Originally, it was planned as an N64 title. The game was also going to be its own thing before Shigeru Miyamoto looked at what Rare had come up with and felt it should tie into Star Fox. What we ultimately ended up with was an action-adventure Star Fox title on the GameCube.

Now thanks to Forest of Illusion, we’re getting a pretty good look at what the project was like originally. A disc was purchased from a private game collector in Sweden, and the file date lists the build as being from December 1, 2000.

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon

Not too long ago, The Outer Worlds on Switch received a new update and the Peril on Gorgon expansion. Take a look at some footage comparing the most recent and previous patch as well gameplay of the DLC below.
