Cubicity

According to an eShop listing, OverGamez will publish the physics-based puzzle game Cubicity on Switch this month. A release is planned for July 25.

Here’s an overview of Cubicity, along with a trailer:

Fire Emblem Heroes

New Heroes Revival: Desert Mercenaries is now live in Fire Emblem Heroes. It features Ephraim: Dynastic Duo, Gerik: Desert Tiger, Ewan: Eager Student, and Tethys: Beloved Dancer from The Sacred Stones. The event will be live until July 19.

Forging Bonds Revival: Mercenary Matters also kicked off today in Fire Emblem Heroes. Players can forge bonds through battle and gain friendship. By growing close to all event characters, you can unlock and view a special conversation featuring Heroes from The Sacred Stones.

Paper Mario: The Origami King

Like Paper Mario: Color Splash, The Origami King lets players view a bunch of different concept art created during development. The whole set appears to have already come online after some players got their hands on the game early (and following a leak as well).

You can check out the full lineup of concept art below. Note that it does show a variety of locations and what some may feel is spoiler-related content, so keep that in mind before proceeding.

Liberated

The comic adventure shooter Liberated was updated this week to version 1.0.2. It includes a higher frame rate, nicer visual effects, and adjustments.

Superhot: Mind Control Delete was announced this week, but there’s been some confusion as to whether or not it’ll be made available for Switch. While members of the media received a press release stating it would be put on Nintendo’s console at a later date, the official website mentioned that there were no plans at all currently.

We’ve now received clarification, but unfortunately, we don’t have good news to share. Nintendo Everything was told: “There are no concrete plans at this time to add it to the Switch. It’s not entirely off the table, but not in the works at this time.” As for the mixed messaging, there was apparently “some internal miscommunication within Superhot Team.”

We’ll be sure to let you know if the situation happens to change at all in the future.
