BoxBoy + BoxGirl announced for Switch

BoxBoy + BoxGirl is coming to Switch, Nintendo has revealed. A release is planned for April 26.
The game will come packed with co-op and 270 stages. There’s also a new adventure with Qudy.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 launches this summer

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has been given a release window. During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that the game is due out this summer.
Below are a few details:
– Heroic camera
– Local and online multiplayer
– Captain Marvel in the game
– Each hero has an alliance extreme attack

Super Mario Maker 2 is coming to Switch, Nintendo announced during today’s Nintendo Direct. The game launches this June.
New features were shown in the debut trailer, including slopes. You’ll also be able to use a brand new style based on Super Mario 3D World.

Nintendo Directs have been on a bit of a hiatus, but are finally back in a big way. A new presentation will be kicking off in an hour from now – 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe. It’ll last about 35 minutes.
Nintendo has confirmed that Fire Emblem: Three Houses will have a presence here. Beyond that, things are a bit of a mystery. We’ll all find out what Nintendo has in store for us very soon, and you can watch the event as it happens below. Devin will also be taking care of our live blog right in this post, though posts about important announcements will be added to the site as well (and after the show is over).

Pokemon GO kicks off 2019 Valentine’s Day Celebration

A new event has started in Pokemon GO in celebration of Valentine’s Day. While active, Pokemon such as Clefairy, Hoppip, and Luvdisc will appear more frequently in the wild. Certain pink Pokemon will also hatch more frequently from 7 km Eggs, and Pink Pokemon such as Chansey and Porygon will appear more frequently in Raid Battles.
A few bonuses are planned as well. Lure Modules will last six hours for the duration of the event and there will be twice the amount of Catch Candy.
The 2019 Valentine’s Day Celebration in Pokemon GO will be live until February 21.

Fire Emblem Heroes has grossed $500 million since its release

Sensor Tower is reporting that Fire Emblem Heroes has surpassed $500 million in worldwide player spending. It has grossed more than twice the combined earnings of Nintendo’s other mobile titles, including Dragalia Lost.
Japan is the country that has spent the most on Fire Emblem Heroes at 56% ($280 million). The next closest country is the United States at 31% ($155 million). The remaining 57 regions comprise just 13% of revenue.

Paladins’ cross-play and cross-progression update is now live

Paladins has been updated today with major functionality. Cross-play and cross-progression is now supported between Switch, Xbox One, and PC. If you’re playing on Switch, you can battle against any user from those other two platforms. Progress between all of these platforms can also be carried over.
