Hyper Light Drifter has a release date on Switch. With the subtitle Special Edition, it launches September 6. You’ll be able to pre-purchase starting today.

Nintendo is bringing back the Nindies Showcase today during its latest live stream today. New indie titles will be announced and shown, though Nintendo hasn’t elaborated on the details.

You can watch the presentation as it happens below. It’ll kick off at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe. We’ll be adding posts to the site throughout the event, with more coverage after the Nindies Showcase ends.

Chasm

Just after it was teased yesterday, Bit Kid has confirmed Chasm for Switch. The developer is working with Tom Spilman on the port, who has handled Axiom Verge and other games on Nintendo’s console.

Chasm will launch on Switch later this year. Bit Kid says it’s “looking into special Kickstarter backer pricing for the Switch version like we did with PS4, but it’s not looking like it’ll be possible.”

Onimusha: Warlords

Capcom is developing Onimusha: Warlords, the company has announced. A release is planned on Switch.

The Onimusha series first started in 2001, which Warlords is based on. The last mainline entry was 2006’s Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams on PlayStation 2.
