Thanks to Fellow Traveller and Made Up Games, we have the release date for Pine: A Story of Loss. Those on Nintendo Switch can experience it starting this Friday, December 13.
We originally heard about Pine: A Story of Loss back in April. It was last confirmed to be dropping sometime this year.

No More Robots and Gamkat are bringing Piece by Piece to Nintendo Switch, the companies announced today. The game launches in 2025.
As a quick intro, Piece by Piece is a repair shop sim about helping forest animals fix up their broken gadgets and gizmos.

My Nintendo adds new 2025 calendars

2025 is almost here, and My Nintendo is celebrating with a couple of new rewards. Along with a 2025 desktop calendar, members can spend their points on a Nintendo Switch Online one.
The desktop calendar features familiar faces such as Mario and Luigi, Princess Zelda, Donkey Kong, and more for each month. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch Online calendar has characters and artwork from retro titles such as Super Mario Bros., Star Fox, F-Zero X, and more. Both come with a stand that lets you display it on a desk.

Cozy Grove is being offered as the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in North America, it’s been announced.
The game can be played for free between December 11 and December 17 with an active membership. Once it’s over, save data can be used in the full version. Those who give it a shot will earn 100 Platinum Points on My Nintendo.

Gimmick 2 was previously confirmed for Nintendo Switch physical release, but now we have actual details. Today’s news comes from Limited Run Games.
Gimmick 2 will be sold standalone, but it’s also planned as a collector’s edition. The latter includes the game, a light-up Yumetaro vinyl figurine, an art book, CD soundtrack, and more.
Doki Doki Literature Club reaches 30 million players

Today, Serenity Forge and Team Salvato announced that Doki Doki Literature Club has reached the milestone of hitting 30 million players worldwide.
The title initially debuted in 2017. The game then received an enhanced version in 2021, and that one is available on Nintendo Switch.

Clear River Games just came through with a western release date for Omega: The Triangle Stars, and the English version isn’t too far off. The game is scheduled for February 28, 2025.
Omega: The Triangle Stars, coming from Star Fox and F-Zero artist Takaya Imamura, previously launched this past July in Japan. The western version was confirmed back in September.

Worlds of Aria release date set for January, new trailer

The Nintendo Switch release date for Worlds of Aria has now been revealed. According to Ludogram Games and Ishtar Games, the D&D-like co-op adventure is due out on January 23, 2025.
Worlds of Aria gets its release date after it was confirmed for Nintendo Switch about a year ago. Last we heard, it was planned for 2024 – so technically this counts as a delay on the console.

November 21: Dear Villagers, along with Exalted Studio, have announced that Big Helmet Heroes will be released on Nintendo Switch. Currently it’s slated for later in 2024.
Big Helmet Heroes is a 3D beat ’em up adventure game that supports co-op. The game has “a world filled with perilous challenges, fearsome adversaries, and glorious conquests.”
