Square Enix is hosting a short and sweet sale on the Nintendo eShop, but it’s a notable one with multiple Dragon Quest games included, with Dragon Quest 11 S now at its lowest price ever. A few other titles are also included here.

Following its initial launch, Amber Isle has been revealed for physical release on Nintendo Switch. Listings are now surfacing on retailer sites and pre-orders are open with a tentative release date of July 3, 2025.

Amber Isle has already been available digitally. After it was delayed, Team17 published the game on the Nintendo eShop back in February.

Missing Banban

A ton of different Garten of Banben games have previously come to Nintendo Switch, and now the franchise has added one more with Missing Banban. The title just came out for the console today.

Missing Banban is a spinoff of the main series. Unlike the other games, this one is a side-scrolling action platformer.

Prison Alone

QUByte Interactive, in addition to Farmando XP, today announced that Prison Alone will be appearing on Nintendo Switch next week. The game is due out on June 5, 2025.

Prison Alone is a psychological horror game that takes place in an empty prison, though there are no jumpscares. As the last member of a prison, you’ll look to uncover the truth behind the mysterious disappearances and disturbing phenomena that haunt the facility.

Fast Fusion free content update

May 20: Shin’en made it official today that the studio is working on a free content update for its Nintendo Switch 2 launch game Fast Fusion. That news was shared on the game’s official social media account.

Unfortunately, fans will be forced to wait a bit for specifics as to what Shin’en is cooking up. That said, we’re hopeful that we’ll be seeing some new tracks. Work on the additional content is already underway. We’ll let you know when more details are available.

Infinite Alliance

Electric Airship, along with Critical Games, today unveiled Infinite Alliance for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The game launches in 2026 as a free title.

Infinite Alliance is a crossover turn-based RPG. Characters from a variety of games will be featured with Chained Echoes, Jack Move, and much more represented in the final product.

SEGA is further promoting Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut on Nintendo Switch 2, this time with the opening movie. The video provides a general introduction to the game and some of the things players can expect to see.

Nintendo Switch Parental Controls 2.0.0 update

Another Nintendo app has just gone live with an update, and this time it’s the one for parental controls with version 2.0.0.

Nintendo Switch 2 is just a few days away now, so it comes as no surprise that the patch now supports the new console. Also as part of this, GameChat settings have been added in.

Iron Meat update Arcade, Boss Rush, and Mutation modes

Iron Meat has announced a new update, which is highlighted by Arcade, Boss Rush, and Mutation modes. Nintendo Switch should be getting the patch soon.

Arcade, Boss Rush, and Mutation change up how players can experience the meat-and-metal run-and-gun shooter. That’s not the only new content though, as two new weapons and the new wall-crawing zombies have been added as well.
