Today, PQube announced a partnership with developer CIRCLEfromDOT to publish Kusan: City of Wolves on various platforms, including Nintendo Switch. The game is planned for 2026.

Kusan: City of Wolves is a fast-paced hardcore top-down shooter. PQube says it’s “packed with intense combat mechanics, immersive storytelling and a unique blend of traditional Korean culture with cutting-edge futuristic design.”

GTA Trilogy Grove Street credits removal response

Grove Street Games, the original developer behind Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, has responded to being removed from the credits.

Rockstar issued a significant update for each of the titles this week. But aside from the improvements, it was discovered that Grove Street Games is no longer credited on the initial boot screen. While the company wasn’t involved more recently, Grove Street did work on the original console release.

Earlier this year, it was reported that James “Archbox” Williams was one of two people Nintendo was suing over Switch piracy. New details have now emerged about how Williams was tracked down, which involved repairs and Reddit.

Game File uncovered information about the case from court filings. Things begin in 2023 when Nintendo hired Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp to investigate online stores for pirated Switch games. That led to the discovery of Archbox, and based on Reddit postings including ones in the SwitchPirates and Phoenix communities, the law firm learned that he lived near Phoenix, Arizona and had attended Midwestern University.


Beyblade X XONE English

There was a bit of a surprise surrounding Beyblade X: XONE this week, as the game ended up seeing a worldwide release with full English support.

FuRyu originally unveiled the Nintendo Switch game back in May. However, that reveal only indicated that a Japanese launch was happening. So it certainly came as a surprise that as we were browsing the Nintendo eShop, we happened to notice an English version of Beyblade X: XONE. The game can be purchased in both North America and Europe.

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island was previously announced, but today publisher Whitethorn Games and developer Polygon Treehouse confirmed that a Nintendo Switch version is happening. The game launches on December 5, 2024.

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island is an exploration friendship adventure game. Players will take on the role of backpacker Alex, who is shipwrecked on a lost mythical island.

Sugardew Island physical

We have an update on Sugardew Island, including news about a delay and physical release for Nintendo Switch.

When we heard about Sugardew Island towards the start of the year, it was planned for Q2. That target was ultimately not met, and it’s now been announced that the game has been delayed to early 2025. A reason for the delay was not provided.

Crystal Breaker

Terarin Games is putting Crystal Breaker on Nintendo Switch this month, the company has announced. A release is planned for November 28, 2024.

Crystal Breaker joins the lineup of shoot ’em up games on Switch. Terarin says the game has “a unique game design that utilizes close-range attacks” and players can “move at high speeds and take no damage when they come into contact with enemies.”

Glitch Hero

Artax Games today announced that it’s closing out the month with its new game Glitch Hero. It’ll launch for Nintendo Switch on November 28, 2024.

Glitch Hero is an action puzzle adventure game. Players will control Ada as they wield the mighty Hammer.exe and debug the corrupted virtual world to save her father who is trapped inside Codeland.
