Jupiter has worked on many Picross games over the years, primarily on 3DS. But the developer isn’t finished with the dedicated portable having just announced Sanrio Characters Picross.

Sanrio Characters Picross is the picross you know and love – just with the likes of Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and others. It’s coming out in Japan in just one week on April 25. Pricing is set at 700 yen.

PM Studios posted a new gameplay video for MUSYNX today showing off the rhythm game on Switch. The video, attached below, features “Platina” as composed by memme.

Forever Entertainment has published a series of Sparkle games on Switch over the past several months. Next up on the list is Sparkle Zero, which is due out this week.

Sparkle Zero involves starting out as a small creature, finding food, and growing. Other organisms will be getting in your way in the competition for resources, however.

During the last Nintendo Direct, it was announced that a network test would be held for Dark Souls: Remastered. But now that the game has been delayed, have plans changed?

The good news is that Bandai Namco and FromSoftware are still moving forward with the network test. Unfortunately, it probably won’t be happening in the near future. The official Dark Souls Twitter account has indicated that the test will take place “closer to the Switch release.”

NIS America has revealed another bonus for the Switch version of Ys VIII. All copies will include Adol’s Silver Armor costume, a special outfit from the very first game in the series – Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished.

Note that the costume will be packed into each game. An extra download will not be necessary.

The Wave Race series has been dormant for a very long time. We’re closing in on two decades since Wave Race: Blue Storm, which came to GameCube in 2001.

Could Wave Race finally return on Switch? There are no promises, but Nintendo managing executive officer Shinya Takahashi – who has played a large role with the console – seems interested in the possibility.
