Announced earlier today, Nintendo will be issuing a brand new Splatoon 2 patch shortly. The update should be live in North America tonight and very early in the morning tomorrow in Europe.

We don’t have the English patch notes yet, but fans have started to translate most of the changes pertaining to weapons. You can find these unofficial patch notes below. We’ll hopefully have the full, official English translation tonight.

Update: Bumped to the top. Outlast: Bundle of Terror is out now in North America as well.


Original: We knew that the Outlast games would be coming to Switch at some point. Yet strangely, out of the blue, Outlast: Bundle of Terror has popped up on the European eShop and can be purchased right now.

It’s unclear if this is a mistake, but it’s rather odd for this to appear randomly. In any case, we have some screenshots of the game on Switch below, along with an overview.

Ahead of this week’s release on the Switch eShop, Lienzo has published a launch trailer for Mulaka. Watch the video below.

Natsume passed along new information about Wild Guns Reloaded today, including a release month. The game is scheduled for April and will be released physically and digitally.

Pre-orders are live at GameStop here with other retailers to follow. In case you’re curious, pricing is set at $29.99.

As previously mentioned, Wild Guns Reloaded has new features on Switch including Beginner Mode and Boss Rush: Time Attack. Further details on these modes and general information about the game can be found below.

Super Nintendo World

Super Nintendo World is going to be a long-term project for Nintendo and Universal. Originally announced in 2015, the theme park is planned to be ready for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

While it may not show much, the first building for Super Nintendo World has gone up at Universal Studios Japan. Currently the entrance to the area is being worked. You can see a couple of photos below as well as a closer look at construction in the attached video.

Broken Rules has shared encouraging news about the sales of Old Man’s Journey on Switch. In just one week following launch, the studio has recouped porting costs. That means all additional sales from here on out will provide the team with actual profits.

A physical version of Voez was made available in Japan not too long ago. We also came across a listing on GameFly this past weekend, indicating that the release would be made available in North America as well.

Voez’s physical edition will indeed be releasing stateside this summer. You’ll be able to purchase a copy for $39.99. Amazon already has pre-orders open here.

Yoku's Island Express

Team17 and Villa Gorilla released a new trailer for Yoku’s Island Express focusing on the main character’s abilities. In the pinball platformer mashup, Yoku the dung beetle will be able to discover many quirky hidden abilities and collectibles to discover including:

• The Noisemaker, a party whistle that acts as Yoku’s postal horn
• The Slug Vacuum, capable of sucking up the pesky slugs that litter the island and utilising their explosive power to clear stubborn rocks and reveal new routes to explore
• Take the plunge with the Dive Fish, which will allow Yoku to dive the depths of the island

This week’s issue of Famitsu contains a Dragon Quest Builders 2 interview with producer Noriyoshi Fujimoto and assistant producer Takuma Shiraishi. The two developers shared the latest details about the game. Fujimoto and Shiraishi talked about the reason for moving ahead with the sequel, where development is at currently, multiplayer and story teases, and more.
