Miitomo has been updated with new content. Players can nab the latest items in the Miitomo Drop stage, “Shredding riffs and looking cute! Pretty Punk Power #2”.
Available items include:
– Gradient bob with bangs wig
– Short leather jacket + punk shirt
– Punk rock skirt + plaid sash belt
– Studded backpack
Users can select Miitomo Drop stages from the Shop tab. Miitomo coins or game tickets are needed to play.

Splatoon 2 update out now (version 2.2.0)

As promised, Nintendo has issued the latest update for Splatoon 2. You can now download version 2.2.0.

No cross-platform play for Dark Souls: Remastered

Bandai Namco has ruled out cross-play for Dark Souls: Remastered. Some have speculated that the feature would be included, allowing players across different platforms to connect online. However, we now know that the functionality won’t be a part of the package.
Dark Souls: Remastered releases on May 25 for Switch. The Artorias of the Abyss DLC will be included at no extra charge.

Update: Bumped to the top. Nintendo says that its previously-announced February 3 date is incorrect; the new Nintendo Selects prices go live on February 5.
Original: Nintendo has announced that a trio of 3DS games will soon be joining the Nintendo Selects line. On February 3, Super Mario 3D Land and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and Ultimate NES Remix will be sold for $19.99 each.

Ubisoft staffer teases upcoming Nintendo-related news

Ubisoft will have some Nintendo-related news to share soon. That’s based on a new tweet from one of the company’s employees at the company’s Montreal studio.
Here’s the tweet in question:
Something will happen in some days… please be sure to be ready for that #Nintendo

What’s being teased here could be one of many things. One possibility is some news on Steep, which we assume is still in the works given that Ubisoft hasn’t said anything about a cancellation. This same Ubisoft staffer had said in August that Steep was still happening on Switch.
