Warner Bros. issued a new trailer for The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game. It shows the Ninjago heroes training in the art of Ninja-gility, allowing them to use all sorts of abilities. View the video below.

We knew that Layton’s Mystery Journey was planned for sometime in October on 3DS. Today, a final release date was announced – for Europe at least. Layton’s Mystery Journey will be available in PAL regions on October 6.

Nintendo appears to be publishing Layton’s Mystery Journey in Europe. According to the announcement, the series has sold over 8.7 million copies in the continent to date.

Two more videos are in for Monster Hunter XX on Switch. The first one contains gameplay as shown on the latest episode of Capcom TV, while the other is a general trailer. Both videos are attached below.

forma.8 will launch next week on Switch, MixedBag games has announced. The game, a unique take on the proven Metroidvania action-adventure formula, with be out on August 24. Pricing is set at $9.99 / €9.99 / £8.99.

forma.8 runs at 60 frames per second on Switch and features a 1080p resolution when docked. The Switch Pro Controller is also supported.


The Jackbox Party Pack arrives on Switch tomorrow, along with the series’ second entry. We have a trailer for the party compilation below.

Ghost Town Games has been hard at work on a patch for Overcooked: Special Edition, which recently came to Switch. Although it’s still unclear as to when the update will arrive, it sounds like it’s not too far off.

The Overcooked Twitter account told one fan:


When the patch does arrive, Overcooked should run smoother on Switch. Some players have encountered issues with the game’s performance – specifically the frame rate.

Update (8/17): Another reward has been added. The Wonderful 101 can be had for 30 percent off in exchange for 70 Gold Points.


Original (8/16): My Nintendo has added in a few new rewards. One is related to Smash Bros., two are for Tank Troopers, and the final one is for Flip Wars.

As for Smash Bros., Nintendo has added in the Smash Controller app for 3DS. It’s basically what allows you to use the handheld as a controller for Smash Bros. Wii U. It costs 10 Gold Points.

The Jackbox Party Pack 3 made it to Switch earlier this year. Now the first two entries in the series are being made available on the system as well starting tomorrow.

In order to download The Jackbox Party, you’ll need 1.2GB of space. The sequel takes up 675MB in case you’re curious.
