Rumor: Eurogamer, Laura Kate Dale also say Zelda: Breath of the Wild won’t be at Switch’s launch
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Switch, Wii U | 82 Comments
Yesterday, a report published by Emily Rogers suggested that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild wouldn’t be making Switch’s launch in March. Two additional sources are now backing up that claim.
Rogers originally mentioned that Breath of the Wild’s localization would run through the end of the year. She added that the game would then require about four-to-six months of testing. Today, Eurogamer writes that they’ve been “told of the same schedule, as Nintendo is committed to launching the game in as close to perfect a state as possible after so long in development.”
Separately from Eurogamer, Laura Kate Dale of Let’s Play Video Games wrote on Twitter a few hours ago that “Breath of the Wild missing the Switch launch lines up with info I had heard but not multi sourced. Don’t expect it in March.”

Rumor: Zelda: Breath of the Wild won’t be releasing in March
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Switch, Wii U | 203 Comments
Many have hoped – and some have assumed – that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would be out right alongside Switch next March. Unfortunately, that may not be the case.
Emily Rogers, who has a fairly solid track record with Switch rumors, writes in a new blog post today that the new Zelda title won’t be ready for March. Rogers heard in September “that the localization for the game was becoming more work than anyone had anticipated” due to “all of the game’s text, NPCs, quests, etc.” She then received word recently that the localization was still not going as smoothly Nintendo had hoped, with one source stating that it’s very ambitious.
Dragon Ball Fusions officially bumped up to November 22 in North America
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 2 Comments
Update: Bandai Namco has just confirmed via Twitter that Dragon Ball Fusion will indeed launch on November 22 in North America – more than three weeks earlier than its original release date of December 13.
EXCITING NEWS! We are moving up the launch of DRAGON BALL Fusions (3DS) from Dec. 13 to Nov. 22! Did you pre-order your copy yet? #DBFusions pic.twitter.com/6egOapALze
— Bandai Namco US (@BandaiNamcoUS) November 14, 2016
Original: Something strange is going on with Dragon Ball Fusions’ North American release date. Towards the end of last week, retailers started to update their listings, indicating that the game is launching within the next few days. Amazon and GameStop are both showing November 16 – yes, this Wednesday – while GameFly has it for Friday.
Both of these dates don’t make a whole lot of sense, as Bandai Namco’s games usually ship on Tuesdays. That’s why we shrugged it off and assumed those retailers simply made an error. However, a new listing has now appeared on the 3DS eShop with a November 22 release date. It would be a Tuesday, but still earlier than the previously-announced December 13 release date.
If I had to guess, Dragon Ball Fusions isn’t heading to stores this week. I’d say the eShop’s November 22 date is much more probable. Either way, we might be seeing Fusions sooner than we originally thought.
Natsume on Harvest Moon: Skytree Village improvements and secrets, Seeds of Memories

Siliconera caught up with Harvest Moon: Skytree Village producer Taka Maekawa to chat about the 3DS game. The full interview is located here, but there are a few excerpts worth highlighting.
Regarding feedback from Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley used to improve Skytree Village, Maekawa said:
“We have some loyal and dedicated fans that have been playing Harvest Moon for years and years, so we truly value the feedback we get. It’s hard to narrow down what we are most proud of to just one thing, since there are tons of new features and improvements. We tweaked, improved, and added to all sorts of areas in Harvest Moon: Skytree Village. Such as redesigning the UI menu, making the character controls more responsive, adding a rich and robust story, and new character designs and models. And let’s not forget about the new addition of the Poitou Donkey! There’s just too many features we’re proud of to just pick one.”
Maekawa also shared the following about secrets within the game:
“Fundamentally, all Harvest Moon games are repetitive by nature, so it is extremely important to have a variety of things in the game that keep it new and fresh to drive you to keep playing and moving forward. So, yes, there are all sorts of secrets in the game, some big, some small. I would tell you what they are, but that would ruin the surprise!”
Another Harvest Moon game in the pipeline is Seeds of Memories. It’s out on mobile, but the Wii U and PC versions are still not available. Regarding these releases, Maekawa said: “We hope to be able to talk about them as things become more final!”
