Support for No Man’s Sky continues, and today Hello Games unveiled a new “Relics” update for the game. This will be available soon on Nintendo Switch.
There’s a lot here for returning players. Fans can unearth hundreds of unique bones, assemble skeletons to design fossil exhibits, join the community on an expedition to recreate lost creatures, battle against gargantuan stone guardians, and more.

Nintendo Direct announced for March 27

It’s just been announced that a new Nintendo Direct presentation will air tomorrow, March 27. The broadcast begins at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.
Nintendo says that the event will be about 30 minutes long. As expected, the Direct will cover Switch 1 games. There will be no news for Nintendo Switch 2 here.

Sometimes You will be publishing Detective From the Crypt on Nintendo Switch, the company announced today. The game launches on April 9, 2025.
Detective From the Crypt is a point-and-click adventure title from Bov. As part of the story, you’ll investigate the death of a family.

Today, Hamster shared the news that it’s publishing Arcade Archives Land Sea Air Squad on Nintendo Switch. The game launches tomorrow, March 27.
Taito was originally behind Land Sea Air Squad, which originally released in 1986. While playing as sergeant Sarge, players need to attack enemy strongholds.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble shared big news today as the game is teaming up with Pac-Man and is getting a brand new version 2.20 update.
The DLC celebrates the 45th anniversary of Bandai Namco’s legendary franchise. After purchasing the Pac-Man DLC, players will see in-game bananas transformed into the iconic pellets, a bunch of bananas will turn into cherries, and the golden bananas will turn into power pellets.

Sunderfolk shares release date on Nintendo Switch with new trailer

Sunderfolk just earned its release date, courtesy of publisher Dreamhaven and developer Secret Door. The two sides confirmed today that it’s due out for Nintendo Switch on April 23, 2025.
Sunderfolk was originally made known for the console last October. The fantasy couch cooperative tactical adventure game last had a vague 2025 launch window, but now we have a proper date.

Batsugun Saturn Tribute Boosted has been revealed for physical release in the west, and there’ll be two different options. Limited Run Games is in charge of production.
Batsugun Saturn Tribute Boosted will naturally have a regular boxed copy, but there’ll be a Deluxe Edition as well. The latter comes with a copy of the game, deluxe box, original soundtrack, keychain, pin, and art book.

The team behind Civilization 7 has announced a big version 1.1.1 update, which will be available on Nintendo Switch soon.
The update contains new features, adjustments, fixes, and more. Some of the highlights include Quick Move, UI improvements, restart button, and Mount Everest as a Natural Wonder.

Rumor: Nintendo Switch 2 to have three-phase launch plan for games, possible June launch

According to a report from Insider Gaming, Nintendo is planning a three-phase launch plan for Switch 2 games. This seems to be based on what the outlet has heard coming out of GDC 2025 last week.
The first part of the release will apparently begin with a focus on first-party games at launch. The second stage, which is claimed to be happening between October and November, will be for third-party studios. Following that is the third phase during the holiday period, though specifics weren’t provided.

Studio Aurum has announced Monster Crown: Sin Eater, a sequel to the series’ previous entry which is currently on Nintendo Switch.
The team says that success of the original on Nintendo’s console allowed Studio Aurum to hire a dedicated team. A Kickstarter campaign just opened today with Switch included as an option. Additionally, we’re told that Studio Aurum is looking to obtain a Switch 2 development kit as soon as possible, and will do everything possible to make a port there possible.
