Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest coming soon to the North America 3DS Virtual Console?
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 4 Comments
Nintendo recently added in a trailer for Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest on the North American 3DS eShop. Might that suggest that a Virtual Console release is planned for the near future?
Europe will actually be getting Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest on the 3DS VC later this week. It wouldn’t be too surprising if the game will also be made available in the US on Thursday.

Edmund McMillen still interested in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for 3DS, but religious content remains a problem
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 4 Comments
Edmund McMillen’s interest in bringing The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth to 3DS hasn’t waned. Unfortunately, he’s still facing the same issues with Nintendo – that being how the company objects to the game’s religious aspects
McMillen wrote in a recent Q&A for Rebirth posted earlier today:
we want to release on 3ds, and will if given the option. isaac currently goes against Nintendos publishing rules due to its religious aspects.. but stuff might change, you never know.
Publisher Nicalis said last August that The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth could still come to 3DS. At this point, the only way this would seem to be possible would be if the title’s religious elements were removed.

Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 2 Comments
Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham has been tweeting up a storm about the studio’s upcoming FPS. Most of the bits pertain to controls, but there are a couple of other points addressed as well. We’ve rounded up Watsham’s relevant tweets below.
We are finalizing a playable demo of our (new?) FPS on 3DS. It's pretty stellar. Hoping it'll be part of a press event at the end of Jan. 🙂
— Jools Watsham (@JoolsWatsham) January 11, 2014
There are 3 aiming options available in our FPS for 3DS: Stylus. Face buttons (ABXY). CPP right Circle Pad. Plus, left-handed configs.
— Jools Watsham (@JoolsWatsham) January 11, 2014
@aaronm989 That will be revealed soon. 🙂
— Jools Watsham (@JoolsWatsham) January 11, 2014

Jett Rocket II update releasing imminently
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 0 comments
Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai’s first update isn’t too far off, Shin’en says. The developer wrote on Twitter yesterday that it’s only a matter of days before the patch goes live.
The message reads:
@EdEN_Zr Should be only a matters of day. We will tell when we get the release date. I guess holidays delayed everything a bit at eShop…
