Paper Mario Thousand Year Door Luigi's Mansion 2 HD MAR10 Day

If you’ve been waiting to find out when Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will be releasing on Switch, the good news is that it may not be much longer. X user Pyoro, who has a habit of leaking Nintendo announcements such as content from Nintendo Directs, now indicates that news about both titles will be shared on MAR10 Day. Presumably that will include updated launch timing.

MAR10 Day, of course, is March 10. That’s Nintendo’s way of recognizing the Super Mario franchise. Most MAR10 Days come and go without much news, with the company focusing on things like bundles and sales. However, we did get the release date for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 4 last year, so release dates aren’t out of the question.

CarX Highway Racing

CarX Technologies has announced CarX Highway Racing as its latest Switch release. It will be available on March 14, 2024.

We’re told that CarX Highway Racing “is a game that blends the unique CarX physics with an engaging storyline and a wide range of gameplay modes.” After surpassing 100 million downloads on mobile, it’ll now be available on Nintendo’s console.

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from February 2024. Some of the highlighted titles include Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Penny’s Big Breakaway, and Pocket Card Jockey: Ride On.

Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door Switch

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door moves up to #2.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between February 14 and February 20.

According to a report from Mainichi, Nintendo was recently ordered to pay 200,000 yen (roughly $1,300) in damages after a court found that an industrial doctor at the company carried out power harassment against two temporary nurses.

The site reports that the nurses filed their initial lawsuit after “claiming that they were unfairly denied employment because their relationship with their boss had deteriorated, even though they had been subjected to power harassment by him.” They were originally sent to Nintendo via a program intended to lead to full employment. After starting work at Nintendo’s human resources department in April 2018, the nurses’ responsibilities included checkups and other duties. However, after five months, the company informed the temporary staffing agency that dispatched the nurses that it would not employ them on a regular basis because they had “failed to establish a smooth cooperative framework with the physician.”
