UK software sales for the week ending October 29, 2022

The latest UK software sales are in for the week ending October 29, 2022, and we’ve got some news about recent Switch releases.
Bayonetta 3’s opening week performance saw a four percent increase compared to the Switch port of Bayonetta 2. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope experienced a 52 percent dip week-over-week. While that’s actually not too bad, the original first week sales were down by more than half of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. GamesIndustry points out that Switch physical software sales are down 9 percent year-to-date.

A new update for Wayward Strand has been announced by developer Ghost Poem, although a release date for Switch has not yet been announced. This update brings with it some additional story content, as well as a few small gameplay fixes. Full details can be found below:

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Switch release date set for March 2023

Koei Tecmo today released a new overview trailer for Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse (known as Project Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse in Europe), which also gives a final release date for the Switch version. All fans will be able to pick up the title on March 9, 2023.

Pokemon Masters EX adds new Villain Arc chapter, Villain Event, Poke Fair and Special Scout

Pokemon Masters EX has just experienced a hefty drop of content, including a new Chapter in the Main Story Villain Arc, a new Villain Event, and two new Scout events. These additions are all based on the Unova region, with a particular emphasis on the region’s first protagonists, Hilda and Hilbert, as well as its main villain, Ghetsis.
