Original (10/27): Sonic Prime, the upcoming animated series from Netflix, now has a confirmed release date. Although it was previously rumored, the streaming service has come forward with the news that the show goes live on December 15, 2022.

Cooking Mama creator sues Planet Entertainment over Cooking Mama: Cookstar

Office Create, the developer behind Cooking Mama, has sued Planet Entertainment related to various issues surrounding Cooking Mama: Cookstar.
Around the time of the game’s release, the two companies were battling over the title. Office Create said Cooking Mama: Cookstar was released against the company’s request. Going further into things, Office Create felt it didn’t meet quality standards and a PS4 version was marketed even though it was not a part of the original licensing agreement.

Publisher Chorus Worldwide and developer Maboroshi Artworks today announced Last Time I Saw You will be coming to Switch. A release is currently targeted for Summer 2024.
Last Time I Saw You is a narrative adventure game in which you play as Ayumi, a 12-year-old boy who “sees a strange girl who may be responsible for a curse on his town” in his dreams. Read more about the project below.

Original (11/7): Dead Cells continues to release new content, and a new Everyone is Here Vol. II update has just been revealed. The patch just went live on PC, and is “coming soon to consoles” – including Switch.
Everyone is Here Vol. II features the latest set of crossovers. Players can access weapons, skills, and skins from Terraria, Risk of Rain, Hotline Miami, Shovel Knight, Katana Zero, and Slay the Spire.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet become the most pre-ordered games for the series ever

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have seen the most pre-orders for any entry in the series to date. That’s according to The Pokemon Company COO Takato Utsunomiya, who was recent interviewed by Oricon News.
Utsunomiya didn’t elaborate further, only stating that The Pokemon Company is looking forward to the game’s launch. It’s unclear if his statement refers to worldwide pre-orders or Japan only.
