Nintendo Switch Sports update 1.2.0

A new 1.2.0 update has just gone out for Nintendo Switch Sports.

This patch is something we heard about last week. It adds a few new elements such as Leg Strap functionality in soccer and new moves for volleyball. Additionally, it looks like the way in which pins fall have been adjusted in bowling.

The full patch notes for the Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.0 update are as follows:

Here’s the full roundup of highlights:

PAX West 2022 Nintendo

PAX West 2022 is returning to close out the summer, and some of the companies attending the show have now been named – and Nintendo is included.

ReedPop says “Nintendo, SEGA, Bandai Namco, MiHoYo, tinyBuild, Devolver Digital, Yacht Club Games, and more are some of the biggest publishers in gaming excited to showcase their latest and greatest” at the event. We’ll also be seeing developers like Larian Studios, Tripwire Interactive, Thunderful Games, and more on the expo floor ready with “both beloved and unannounced titles.” Other confirmed companies include Intel, AMD, ASUS, and AORUS GIGABYTE, AAA, Finji, Apogee Entertainment, Koch Media, Brace Yourselves Games, Raw Fury, Studio Wildcard, Ysbryd Games, and PM Studios.

Xenoblade 3 10-year life span

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have discussed the more serious story of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and having the 10-year life span as a major plot point.

Monolith Soft senior director and chief creative officer Tetsuya Takahashi, the studio’s director and producer Koh Kojima, and Nintendo director and producer Genki Yokota weighed in. Kojima actually initially felt that Takakhashi ” was deliberately trying to remove the sense of ‘Xenoblade-ness’ of the series” because of how serious the world is and having a different design. However, through “trial and error”, the team “found a good balance” and captured the series’ essence.
