Publisher ChiliDog Interactive and developer Duck Team have announced that their 8-bit 2D platformer Alexio is headed to the Switch eShop sometime in 2022. Check out a trailer and an overview for the game below.

  • [Story Maps] A new Squad Assault map is now available: 53rd Assault (no end date)

Bayonetta 3

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, there’s some movement with Splatoon 3 entering the top three and Dragon Quest X Offline entering the top five as Bayonetta 3 remains the top Switch title.

In the last financial report from Nintendo, we learned that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sales have reached 38.74 million units, surpassing Mario Kart Wii as the best-selling game in the franchise. Being a “deluxe” edition of a Wii U title, I found it surprising how incredibly successful the game is.

There are obvious reasons for those crazy numbers such as the Switch’s success and the overall popularity of Mario Kart. However, in a new video today, I decided to analyze what exactly makes it special on the inside, why the game is so universally approachable, and how it differs from past games in the series. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 17 European eShop downloads for November 2021.

Unsurprisingly, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl topped the charts coming in at #1 and #2 respectively. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is also in the top five. Shin Megami Tensei V just misses out, coming in at #6.
