Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2 seeing Nintendo Switch physical release

According to Limited Run Games, a physical version of Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2 is planned for Nintendo Switch.
In addition to a standard version, fans will also have an opportunity to an the Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition contains the game, a CD soundtrack, a retro-styled slipcover, a pin, and a double-sided poster, all in a deluxe plastic case.
Donkey Kong Land 3 added to Nintendo Switch Online

Yet another Donkey Kong game has been added to Nintendo Switch Online, and this time it’s Donkey Kong Land 3.
Donkey Kong Land 3 first released in 1997 on the Game Boy in North America and Europe. It later debuted on the Game Boy Color in 2000, but only in Japan. The version on Nintendo Switch Online depends on which app you use – Japan has the Game Boy Color version while the west has the Game Boy original.

Another character trailer is in for Tales of Graces f Remastered, this time for Sophie.
Sophie gets involved early on in the story, but is found with no memories. Asbel ends up naming her after one of the flowers on Lhant Hill.

If there’s one prominent thing we know about the history of gaming, it’s the partnership that nearly happened between Nintendo and Sony for a SNES add-on capable of playing Super Discs, a type of CD-ROM. Despite the two sides coming extremely close to an agreement, Nintendo pulled out at the last second. Sony would then go on to form its PlayStation brand while Nintendo teamed up with Philips for a short period.
Former PlayStation boss Shawn Layden reflected on that bit of history in a recent interview. He said that Ken Kutaragi, who was an engineer and later became Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO, was left “proverbially standing at the altar” due to Nintendo’s decision.

Umurangi Generation Nintendo Switch physical release revealed

Serenity Forge is readying a special physical release of Umurangi Generation on Nintendo Switch, the company revealed today.
Fans will be able to pick up the game as part of a “Deluxe Kit”. Copies include the game, a camera strap, an acrylic standee, a set of clear character cards, a microfiber cloth, and a paper photo bounty.

Universe for Sale is reaching new platforms including Nintendo Switch, publisher Akupara Games and developer Tmesis Studio announced today. A release is planned for December 19, 2024.
Universe for Sale is a hand-drawn adventure game. It takes place on Jupiter’s dense clouds, where sapient orangutans work as dockhands and mysterious cultists strip bones for enlightenment.
Minecraft 1.21.50 update out now, patch notes

Minecraft is back with a big update via version 1.21.50. This is also known as “The Garden Awakens”.
The update is highlighted by the Garden Awakens, which brings along the Pale Garden Biome and the Creaking mob. A ton of fixes are also included.

Victory Heat Rally confirms Nintendo Switch physical release

Just days before its digital debut on Nintendo Switch, a physical release for Victory Heat Rally has been confirmed. Limited Run Games will be handling this one.
Only a standard version is planned at this time. However, fans can opt to purchase a bundle that includes the game’s official soundtrack.
Mark of the Deep launches in January, new trailer

Mark of the Deep has a release date – kind of. We now have confirmation that the game is launching on Nintendo Switch in January, but specific timing will follow later.
Mark of the Deep, a pirate-themed Soulslike with Metroidvania elements, was previously announced in June. The game was originally slated for this year, so it’s been delayed – albeit just slightly.

My Nintendo adds Super Mario Party Jamboree party coasters

There’s another physical reward on My Nintendo in North America, this time for Super Mario Party Jamboree. Members can get their hands on a set of party coasters.
You’ll get eight different coasters here. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, Princess Daisy and Waluigi, Yoshi, Toad, and Kamek are on the designs. Each coaster is 4 and waterproof, so you can use them repeatedly in the future. The material is comprised of coated paperboard.
