The visual novel Please Be Happy is making its way to Switch, publisher Sekai Games and developer Studio Elan announced at KuroCon today. A release is planned for later in 2020.

The Nintendo Direct Mini back in March treated fans to a surprise announcement and release. The office-themed puzzler Good Job! was revealed for Switch during the presentation, and then launched on the eShop immediately after.

Good Job! wasn’t actually a project made entirely by Nintendo as Paladin Studios was just as much involved. As part of an interview with Nintendo Everything, the two companies spoke about how they ended up coming together.

Paladin Studios lead producer Robert Abercrombie and Nintendo of America producer Takao Nakano told us:

Windbound

Windbound has received a new 21-minute video showing off its survival adventure gameplay. Have a look at the footage below.

Deep Silver and 5 Lives Studios are bringing Windbound to Switch on August 28.

Nintendo is back with another piece of music for Paper Mario: The Origami King. This time around, we’re able to hear what the Café theme sounds like. Listen to the music below.

Toricky S

A couple of days ago, the old-school action-adventure game Toricky S was added to the Switch eShop. View some footage below.

Toricky S is available digitally for Switch on the Japanese eShop.

Ring Fit Adventure

New sales data is in from the UK for the month of June 2020.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, a new boxed came, came in at #10. Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics debuted at #13. Although it’s an older release, Ring Fit Adventure was Nintendo’s top seller.

Hardware sales across all home consoles, including Switch, have increased by nearly 70 percent. Switch has sold more so far this year than compared to the same period in 2019.

Minecraft

Minecraft has received another patch on Switch. This week, Mojang prepared a new 1.61.1 update, which includes fixes and adjustments.

Never Breakup

Publisher indienova and developer ISVR have announced that the party game Never Breakup is making its way to Switch this month. It will be available digitally starting July 16.
