Dead of Darkness

Dead of Darkness will be seeing release on Switch, publisher Eastasiasoft announced today in partnership with developer Retrofiction Games. The title will be out later in 2024.

Dead of Darkness is a 2D survival horror adventure game in which players control Miles Windham and Olivia Greene as they head to Velvet Island, the location of a mental hospital that entangles them in a series of dark secrets. Now that Eastasiasoft is on board, the game will be receiving professional voiceovers for 25 spoken roles.

Another Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has arrived, and today Atlus are focusing on Trumpeter, which debuted in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. In Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, it is one of the demons the Nahobino must face as part of the Return of the True Demon subquest chain.

The next game to get the Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial treatment in Europe has been revealed by Nintendo to be Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight.

Those that are currently a part of the service can play the full game entirely at no extra cost. The trial period will be held between June 6 and June 12.

Like other similar offers of this nature, any progress you make can be used in the full version if you choose to purchase the game later on. Additionally, you can earn Platinum Points on My Nintendo simply for participating.

Hollow Knight originally released on Switch via the eShop on June 12 2018, meaning it will mark its sixth anniversary when the Game Trial period ends. Read more about it below.

Fire Emblem Heroes June 2024 Feh Channel

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems just put out a new Fire Emblem Heroes Feh Channel presentation for June 2024. All of the latest information about the mobile game has been delivered.

First up, fans can get a first look at Book VIII Midpoint which starts on June 7. As part of this, a special celebration is planned with different events. On top of that, it’s confirmed that the latest heroes from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn are on the way as part of the Attuned Micaiah & Rearmed Sothe summoning event, slated for June 7 as well. Finally, details about the next update are shared.

Octopath Traveler II update 1.1.0

As a surprise to fans, Square Enix just released a new version 1.1.0 update for Octopath Traveler II.

The main draw of the update is an extra battle mode. Here players can “take on formidable enemies, including the heroes of the first Octopath Traveler”.

Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S physical

Limited Run Games is teaming up with Crypton Future Media to produce a physical version of Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S on Switch, the company has announced.

As of now there are only plans for a standard version of the game. Limited Run Games won’t be selling any special editions.

My Nintendo Classic Games Postcard Set

A new reward just went up on My Nintendo, and it’s one that retro gamers might be interested in. Members can now spend their points on a Classic Games Postcard Set.

The set comes with eight different postcards with boxart from classic titles. Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo 64 are represented here.

New Star GP update Hot Lap mode

A new update has been announced for New Star GP, which includes a brand new Hot Lap mode.

The mode is all about setting the fastest time on a lap. You’ll look to beat out opponents’ ghost-cars and reach the top of the leaderboards. Other additions include the ability to switch between MPH and KPH and a big eye option for characters.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble SEGA Pass Sonic Team

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is getting Sonic DLC with its SEGA Pass, it’s just been announced.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy will all appear in the game. All four characters will be playable in Adventure Mode as well as Battle Mode. Worth noting, each character has unique stats. Additionally, all in-game pick-ups will switch from bananas to Gold Rings in further homage to the classic franchise – but only with these characters.
