Super Mario Maker 2 is getting a major free update this week, on December 5. Version 2.0 will add many new course parts, including the Master Sword item in the Super Mario Bros. style that transforms Mario into Link, giving him a totally new moveset, as well as a new speed-run mode. Here’s the trailer for the update:

New difficulties are coming to the Chaos Protocol crossover event in Dragalia Lost. The epilogue to the story will also be added. Players can look forward to the new content hitting the game as of 10PM PST — in the meantime, they can spend their hard-earned Wyrmite on the Winter Wardens Summon Showcase, which is now live.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still at the top for Nintendo titles while Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition makes its first appearance.

Dragon Quest Heroes debuted in 2015 before Square Enix came back with a sequel a little over a year later. 2019 is just about over and there’s no news about a third entry, so we’ve been curious to know if the series has a future.
