Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble Angry Birds DLC

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is getting yet another round of collaboration DLC, and today, SEGA announced that Red from Angry Birds is joining the game. The character can be purchased now via the Nintendo eShop.

As part of the collaboration, when playing as red, in-game bananas will turn into feathers and a bunch of bananas will turn into a tuft of feathers. Additionally, the gold banana will turn into a glowing feather.

Bit Boy Arcade 2

Today, Bplus announced plans to bring Bit Boy Arcade 2 to Nintendo Switch 2. A release window was not provided.

If the name sounds familiar, that’s because the original Bit Boy Arcade previously had an appearance on Nintendo 3DS over a decade ago. Now on Nintendo Switch 2, it’s getting “a full-scale rebirth”.

Nintendo’s Bill Trinen has labeled Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza as “genre-defining” and “franchise-defining” games.

Both were just announced as two of the company’s initial titles for Switch 2. With Mario Kart World, Nintendo is introducing various new features and mechanics, including the ability to free roam. As for Donkey Kong Bananza, it’s the first 3D Donkey Kong game since the N64 days and features huge amounts of environmental destruction. Both games “really take advantage of the uniqueness of the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.”


Developer Deer Dream Studios, together with publisher Serenity Forge, has just announced that its psychological horror dating simulator, Cooking Companions, will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this month, on April 29.

The game is coming to consoles with several new features, with 6 new languages being included in the game, as well as 15 new animated scenes.

RedDeerGames has announced Cozy Stitch Puzzle for Nintendo Switch. The game is set to release April 17th, 2025 for $6.99.

Cozy Stitch Puzzle is a jigsaw puzzle game that allows you to piece together cutesy drawings of animals.

Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order statement

April 4: Nintendo has issued a statement about Switch 2 pre-orders in the United States, noting that they have been delayed. Reservations have not started since the company is evaluating “the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions.”

Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 were set to begin stateside on April 2. Now, however, that has been pushed back to an unspecified date, though the console remains on track for June 5. Meanwhile, pre-order have opened in some other regions – and many have already sold out.

While discussion surrounding Switch 2’s price continues, Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser understands that some consumers “may not be able to afford” the system.

Bowser was speaking about the cost in a recent interview. For those interested in Nintendo’s overall ecosystem, Bowser highlighted that it will continue to have Switch 1 available. New games for that console will also continue to launch heading into 2026.


April 2: It’s official: Hades 2 will be released on Nintendo Switch 2. A release date was not provided.

On top of the Switch 2 news, it was confirmed that the game will be released on the current Switch as well.
