Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh physical collector's edition

Original (6/22): Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh was already confirmed for physical release on Switch, but Microids has now revealed a limited edition and collector’s edition.

With the limited edition, buyers will reeive a copy of the game, official steelbook, and three postcards. The collector’s edition features everything in the limited edition as well as a notebook, 160-page art book, and an original figurine.

Hamster has announced Burning Force as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. A worldwide release is planned for October 26, 2023.

A shooter game released by Bandai Namco Entertainment in 1989, in Burning Force you can operate either an air bike or airplane as you progress through each stage to defeat the boss at the end. Along the way you can collect items to power up, and bypass obstacles using platforms.

Arcade Archives Burning Force will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

The King of Fighters XIII Global Match release date

Original (8/5): SNK just announced a final release date for The King of Fighters XIII Global Match. News dropped a short while ago at EVO 2023.

The King of Fighters XIII Global Match is due out for Switch on November 16, 2023. This follows the original announcement back in April, which did not include a release window.

Mario Party 3 Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online will be making Mario Party 3 available in just a few days, it’s been announced. The game will be out on October 26, 2023 for all members of the Expansion Pack tier.

Mario Party 3 originally launched at the end of 2000 in Japan and in 2001 elsewhere. Find some information about the game below.

Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on its platforms for the week of November 2, 2023. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:


Nintendo updated its website today with new Community Tournament Guidelines. Although the article isn’t up yet in North America, since it’s been posted in Europe and Japan, the content should hold the same for North America as well.

Nintendo says that its guidelines are for those “hosting not-for-profit, small scale community tournaments (Community Tournaments) involving games for which Nintendo owns the copyright (Nintendo games).” The company advises fans to become familiar with them if they plan on setting up a tournament.

Minecraft 1.20.40 update

The next sizable Minecraft update has gone live for version 1.20.40. Full patch notes are available.

The update is highlighted by the rebalancing of several Villager trades as an experimental feature as well as adjustments and improvements to numerous in-game sounds. Plus, buckets can no longer pick up liquids for a few ticks after they’ve been placed.

Among Us The Fungle map

Original (9/14): Among Us has revealed The Fungle as a brand new map for the game. This will be the title’s fifth location thus far.

We don’t have too much to go on, but it’s confirmed to be a deserted island. It will also be added to the game this October.

Annapurna Interactive Collection

A new Annapurna Interactive Collection has been announced, which is a new physical release for Switch. iam8bit is handling production.

Twelve games will be included on a single cartridge. A number of these were sold physically previously, but four of them haven’t until now.
