Midora, Epic Minds’ 2D action-adventure game, has been put on hold. You may recall that the project was funded on Kickstarter last year, and was planned for both Wii U and 3DS.

Epic Minds explained in a website update that “the money we raised was never enough to begin with” and more developers are needed. The team is “not bankrupt, but we know for sure we do not have enough to complete this game.”

So what’s next? Epic Minds is now preparing a completely different title called “Treasure Addicts”, which has “made excellent progress”. Midora is on the backburner for the time being.

Nintendo has now opened an official website for Nikki’s Travel Quiz, confirming that the game is slated for April 21 in Japan for Club Nintendo members (80 points). Access the page here.

Nikki’s Travel Quiz has players traveling across Japan with Nikki, Neko-kun (cat), and Panda-kun (panda). The title features more than 5,000 questions pertaining to Japan, with each prefecture receiving 100 questions each.

Nikki’s Travel Quiz sports two modes. In Travel Quiz, players earn a souvenir by correctly answering questions about the different prefectures. Free Mode lets players take on any questions they desire. Medals are handed out when a certain amount of questions have been answered correctly. Aside from that, you’ll also be able to read up on Nikki’s travel diary.

Nikki’s Travel Quiz takes up 416 blocks of space. View the first screenshots below.

Mighty No. 9 has been in development for quite some time now, but thankfully Comcept has been keeping us in the loop with how things are progressing.

In this new blog update, we get a special sneak peek at what the voice actors have contributed to the roles they’re playing. Check it out in the video below!

There is currently still no release date, though Comcept have teased a “big announcement” coming sometime soon.

New Pokémon Shuffle Opportunities

Blastoise Competitive Stage – Do your best in a competitive stage featuring Mega Blastoise, available to play until 10 p.m. PT on April 12. Players will be ranked based on the score that they receive on this stage. All those who place in the top 20,000 will be awarded a Blastoisinite, the Mega Stone needed to Mega Evolve Blastoise. Rayquaza’s Dragon Talon Skill – If you catch Rayquaza, you will be able to use it as one of your own Pokémon. Rayquaza’s skill is Dragon Talon, which will give your attack 1.5 times the regular damage when you clear Rayquaza from the puzzle area.

Two new games are heading to the European 3DS eShop next week. 3D Fantasy Zone 2 and Heart Beaten are both slated for April 16. Pricing is set at €4.99 and €3.49 respectively.
