Neko Tomo

This week’s issue of Famitsu has announced Neko Tomo, a sequel to the 3DS title Kuma Tomo. Nintendo published the last entry in the series as Teddy Together.

Kuma Tomo is in the works for both Switch and 3DS. Here’s what we know:

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker reaches Switch and 3DS in July. With both new versions just a few weeks out, Digital Foundry is taking a closer look to see how they stack up from a technical standpoint.

Originally, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker ran at 720p on Wii U. This has been increased to 1080p on Switch when docked. It’s a native 720p in handheld mode.

Atlus has released on some more information on Etrian Odyssey X, including details on the new world map, small labyrinths, NPC companions and more. Credit goes to Gematsu for the translation below:

Jake Hunter Detective Story: Ghost of the Dusk is scheduled to be released this fall on the 3DS. We have some off-screen footage of the game below:

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee appear for the first time, and Persona Q2 moves up another spot.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker isn’t just coming to Switch next month. Nintendo is also readying a 3DS version, and pre-loading is live on the eShop.

You’ll need 3,422 blocks of free space to download Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on 3DS. That amounts to 427.75 MB.

The Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker takes up 1.4GB. For the original Wii U version, it was 1.9GB.
