Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door Switch outsells GameCube

Based on the latest financial data from Nintendo, it turns out that sales of the Nintendo Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door have already surpassed the original GameCube release.

Total sales of the GameCube edition stand at 1.91 million units. To compare, on Nintendo Switch, the game managed to hit 1.94 million copies already. That number is based on data collected through September 30, 2024, meaning that the feat was accomplished in only four months.

Nintendo release schedule - November 2024

Alongside Nintendo’s financial results for November 2024, as usual, the company put out its latest release schedule. The graphic highlights upcoming Switch games the company will be publishing.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, which was a surprise announcement last week, now appears on the schedule. Other games like Metroid Prime 4 are also included. The calendar is certainly smaller than it used to be – it doesn’t help that third-party games are no longer listed which is something that Nintendo often did in the past.

Nintendo Switch million sellers November 2024

Thanks to Nintendo’s latest financial results, we have an updated list of million sellers on Switch. This is based on data through September 30, 2024.

A notable inclusion this time around is The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Despite launching at the very end of September, the game is confirmed to have sold 2.58 million copies.

Fire Emblem Heroes Family Ninja Class

Fire Emblem Heroes is gearing up for its next summoning event, and Family Ninja Glass has been revealed.

Special Heroes participating in the ninja festival are coming soon. Additionally, 5-star Hero Noire: Demurely Deft will appear as a Score Reward in the next Tempest Trials+ event.

Donkey Kong Country 2 Switch Online icons

As a heads up for Nintendo Switch Online members, icons for Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest are now available on the service.

Icons can be claimed over the next month – they’ll disappear on December 2. Eight designs are now on the service, and each one is a character (Diddy, Dixie, King K. Rool, and more). They cost 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo to redeem.

Ricochet Rodeo

Echidna Studios’ new game Ricochet Rodeo will be made available on Switch, the developer has announced. It’s slated for 2025 on Nintendo’s console.

Ricochet Rodeo is a bouncing-bullet brawler with a pixel-rendered cowboy aesthetic. Up to eight people can play together locally or online.

The official launch trailer for Totally Spies: Cyber Mission is in. Based on the television show, the Switch title offers action, adventure and infiltration.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered update 4

Aspyr just released a fourth update for Tomb Raider I-III.

The patch includes a new wave of improvements and bug fixes. Aiming, turning, and sprinting when using modern controls have been touched up. It’s also now possible to toggle boss health bars. Many fixes are included her as well.
