A new Gala Dragalia is coming to Dragalia Lost on May 27 at 11pm PT. This summoning event will feature the five star versions of Gala Mascula (water/blade) and Sharpshooter Sarisse (water/close-range manacaster).

A new update has released for Pokemon Masters EX (version 2.9.0). This update fixes some minor bugs that were found in game as well as add features such as Battle Points.

Nintendo Switch

According to a new report from Bloomberg, Nintendo will “begin assembly of its new Switch as soon as July and release the upgraded replacement for its four-year-old game console in September or October”. The site further adds that the system is “likely to be priced higher than the $299 original” and “may be announced ahead of the E3 conference starting June 12 to allow publishers to showcase their full range of Switch games at the global event”.

The Switch Lite will remain on the market. However, the standard Switch will eventually be phased out.

Dragalia Lost has released a new software update (version 2.8.0), which adds some new management features to the game. Things such as medals for your roster, and a new “Manage Facilities” button are added with this update.

Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate

Square Enix closed out its 35th anniversary presentation for Dragon Quest with one final announcement. Dragon Quest XII has now been officially announced.

Series creator Yuji Horii said that Dragon Quest XII will be like Dragon Quest for adults. It’ll be about having options and choosing your own way of how to play. Furthermore, some decision will be made by a character that could change the whole game. The team plans to change the change the classic command battles; it won’t be removed entirely though.

Square Enix is aiming for simultaneous worldwide release with Dragon Quest XII. However, platforms and a release window are not yet known. Keep in mind that every mainline entry has appeared on a Nintendo system.

Dragon Quest Treasures

Square Enix has revealed Dragon Quest Treasures, a new spinoff for its classic series. There’s no word on specific platforms or release timing currently, but given the franchise’s prominence on Nintendo platforms, a Switch version is more than possible.

Square Enix is keeping light on details at the moment. However, we do know that it will be some sort of RPG. It’s not a Dragon Quest Monsters project, though plans are in place to continue that spinoff series as well.

Dragon Quest X Offline

Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest X Offline, a new version of its MMORPG. It is targeting a 2022 release in Japan.

As the name implies, Dragon Quest X Offline can be played without an internet connect. It will have a unique visual style, and other differences have been teased compared to the online version.

Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary Special

In celebration of Dragon Quest day on May 27 as well as the series’ 35th anniversary, Square Enix is hosting a special broadcast to showcase all of the latest information pertaining to the franchise. It will begin at 8:30 PM PT / 11:30 PM ET / 4:30 AM in the UK / 5:30 AM in Europe. The presentation will feature live English interpretation from Japanese for the very first time.

In a new developer diary today, GungHo outlined what it has in store for Ninjala Season 6. It will be held between June 17 and September 9.

Ninjala Seasaon 6 will feature a new stage, new Gum weapons, new Shinobi Cards, body paint, Ninjala Pass Mini, and more. Get the full rundown in the video below.

Super Bomberman R Online - Fall Guys crossover

With Super Bomberman R Online just about to launch on Switch, Konami has already revealed a special collaboration for the game. Players will be able to claim an exclusive “Bean Bomber” playable character as part of a partnership with Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.

Konami says that Bean Bomber “is able to dive around the battlefield, trying not to stumble into too many bombs as players compete against one another in the new Battle 64 online mode and more.”

Super Bomberman R Online is due out for Switch tomorrow, May 27.
