Trombone Champ update 1.28B

The next update for Trombone Champ is here with version 1.28B on Switch.

Once again, new songs have been added – specifically “Toccata and Fugue,” “The Four Seasons (Summer),” and “Trombone Champ Medley.” On top of that, the team has made improvements to the Joy-Con controls.

Wild Bastards release date

Wild Bastards is closing in on its launch, and now received a release date. Switch owners can get their hands on the title starting September 12, 2024.

You may remember Wild Bastards, the spiritual successor to Void Bastards, from its Switch confirming earlier in the year. We knew the game was slated for 2024, but when exactly was unknown until today.

Yacht Club Games Presents 2024

Yacht Club Games has announced the 2024 edition of Yacht Club Games Presents, its online showcase. Fans can tune into the event on June 14 at 11:30 AM PT / 2:30 PM ET / 7:30 PM in the UK / 8:30 PM in Europe.

The 2024 Yacht Club Games Presents celebrates the 10th anniversary of Shovel Knight. The show will include announcements, special events, merchandise, and surprises.

BROK the InvestiGator The Brawl Bar DLC

There’s more to come for BROK the InvestiGator, with Cowcat revealing new DLC today known as The Brawl Bar. The studio hasn’t confirmed release timing just yet.

The Brawl Bar is combat-focused DLC, though it still offers some adventure / visual novel gameplay. Players can take on a ton of challenges, team up or battle a friend in co-op or PvP, try out Survival Mode, and more.

Mortal Kombat 1 June 2024 update

A new Mortal Kombat 1 update for June 2024 is just now starting to roll out. Tying in with that, we have the full patch notes.

The main highlight of the update is to add Homelander as a new fighter. There’s also Mileena announcer, new skins, latest balance adjustments, and more.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance trailer

It’s not often that we get a launch trailer for the game more than a week in advance, but one just dropped for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The RPG won’t be available until the end of next week, though you can check it out once again in video form.

Double Dragon Collection Collector's Edition

Arc System Works today announced that it’s putting out the Double Dragon Collection in the west – which will include a special collector’s edition. It’s not too far away, and we already have a release date of June 14, 2024.

Double Dragon Collection previously came to Switch in Japan last year. It includes Double Dragon, Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Double Dragon III: Sacred Stones, Super Double Dragon, Double Dragon Advance, and Double Dragon IV.

Mousebusters

Odencat – the studio behind Bear’s Breakfast, Fishing Paradiso, and Meg’s Monster – just confirmed that it will be releasing its new game Mousebusters on Switch. Expect it to debut later in 2024.

Mousebusters is an action adventure game with pixel art graphics. Players will explore a haunted apartment building to save its cute and quirky residents from their inner demons.

Cricket: Jae's Really Peculiar Game

Publisher PM Studios and developer Studio Kumiho have confirmed Cricket: Jae’s Really Peculiar Game for consoles, including Switch. It arrives on August 15, 2024.

Cricket: Jae’s Really Peculiar Game is an upcoming turn-based RPG adventure with a hand-drawn animation style. You’ll take on the role of Jae who goes on a journey with his friends to try and fix the past.
