Wing of the Asteria, a Greek-mythology themed side-scrolling shooter, announced for Switch

PiXEL is bringing a new game to Switch and PC (via Steam) called Wing of Asteria. This game is a side-scrolling shoot ’em up based on Greek mythology and it is planned for a 2021 release in Japan. It is unknown at this time if it will be localized for other languages.
Notable people involved in development include Shujirou Hamakawa as a character designer (Twin bee, High School DxD, etc.) and Yoshinori Kawamoto who is part of the Bandai Namco Studios Sound Team (Burning Force, Star Fox: Assault, etc.) as a composer. They, along with the rest of the development team, will be bringing a brand new story with unique characters, scenery, and creatures in Wing of Asteria.

Samurai Shodown revealing new DLC character during New Game+ Expo

SNK was previously confirmed to be attending the New Game+ Expo. Now the company has confirmed that it will be unveiling Samurai Shodown news, as the last DLC character for Season 2 will be unveiled. A silhouette teasing the new fighter is attached above.
New Game+ Expo is set to air on June 23 beginning at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM in the UK / 5 PM in Europe. The event will be live streamed on Twitch.

Two years after its initial announcement, Ninjala is about to make its debut on Switch. The action battle game will be launching on June 24.
Ahead of the upcoming release, we were able to speak with game designer Kazuki Morishita, who also worked on the original story. Morishita shared some interesting origins about Ninjala, spoke about some of the game’s inspirations, wanting to focus on reduced network delay, what’s in store after launch, and more.
