When HAL Laboratory works on projects like Kirby, the developer builds those games with an internal engine. But with BoxBoy! + BoxGirl!, the team opted for something different.
It appears that BoxBoy! + BoxGirl! was actually created with Unity. That news comes straight from the game’s copyright screen, which shows the following:

Root Letter: Last Answer confirmed for the west

Root Letter: Last Answer is coming west. The mystery visual novel’s localization, which was recently outed by a rating in Australia, has now been officially announced. PQube will be publishing the game in both North America and Europe.

Dragalia Lost hosting Platinum Showcase

Dragalia Lost’s latest event has gone live. Players can participate in a Platinum Showcase, in which a featured 5-star dragon like 5-star Cerberus or 5-star Simurgh is guaranteed to appear as your tenth summon in a Tenfold Summon.

Super Mario Maker 2 up for pre-order on the Nintendo UK store, various options available

The Nintendo UK store has opened pre-orders for Super Mario Maker 2. A number of different options and bundles are up for grabs, all of which come with goodies.
Each one of these options include has a stylus. Depending on what you choose, you can receive a Carpenters Drawing Pad and Pencil Set, a SteelBook, and a a Super Mario Acorn Plains Diorama Set.

Bird Game+ heading to Switch this week

Ratalakia Games isn’t slowing down with its Switch releases, as the company today announced that it has ported Bird Game+ to the console. A worldwide release is set for May 3.

Fire Emblem Heroes: Children’s Day Voting Gauntlet now live, Allegiance Battle quests

The previously announced Children’s Day Voting Gauntlet has now kicked off in Fire Emblem Heroes. Here are the first-round matchups:
- Tiki: Dragon Scion vs Kana: Dragon Spawn
- Lugh: Anima Child vs Ylgr: Fresh Snowfall
- Fae: Divine Dragon vs Yune: Chaos Goddess
- Nino: Pale Flower vs Delthea: Free Spirit
As always, the Voting Gauntlet consists of two rounds with each lasting two days, for a total of six days.
The Golden Week celebration is also still ongoing. A new set of Allegiance Battle quests has gone live, awarding you with First Summon Tickets for the Choose Your Legends Hero Fest Summoning Foci. The quests will be available for one week.
