Chaos Code: New Sign of Catastrophe physical

Original (10/18): A physical release for Chaos Code: New Sign of Catastrophe is on the way to Switch, Play-Asia and H2 Interactive announced today.

Fans will be able to choose between a standard version or limited edition. Those interested in the limited edition will receive a number of extras, including a collector’s box, special soundtrack, acrylic standee, minicase keychain, art card set, and numbered certificate. Only 3,000 units will be made – there’ll be an unlimited amount available for the standard release.

Spooky Spirit Shooting Gallery

Aksys Games is localizing Spooky Spirit Shooting Gallery for the west, the company just announced. It’s currently planned to launch in Summer 2023.

In Japan, the game has been known as Moshikashite? Obake no Shatekiya. It initially launched in July 2021.

Coromon update 1.1.0

A huge version 1.1.0 update has just been released for Coromon.

The update is highlighted by a new mechanic called Trait Enhancements, which lets players devolve or cancel the evolution of a Coromon to make them benefit from improved versions of their Trait. RNG has been reduced, and a number of Skills, Traits, weather effects and conditions have been revisited to slightly reduce RNG. Along with this, there’s a new “Reduced RNG mode” setting. Other additions, changes, and fixes are included as well.

Raiden III X Mikako Maniax

Retailer listings have outed Raiden III X Mikako Maniax, a new edition of the scrolling shooter for Switch. The game will release on February 23, 2023 in Japan.

Moss is planning a standard physical edition as well as a limited edition. The latter contains a diorama papercraft, two-disc soundtrack CD, and special box with a changeable jacket.

Run Box Run

Mutant Mudds developer Atooi has revealed Run Box Run, an easy to pick up and play online party game. It will launch for Switch on November 3, 2022.

The game has players “competing in escape-runs with friends and foes online through fun dungeons and silly trivia intermissions.” Further information hasn’t been announced, but we do have a gameplay video below.

Digimon World: Next Order International Edition

Original (10/18): Bandai Namco is bringing Digimon World: Next Order International Edition to Switch, it’s been revealed. A release is planned for February 22, 2023 in Japan.

Digimon World: Next Order first released for the PS Vita in 2016, which only came out in Japan. Bandai Namco followed up with a PS4 version the following year that received a worldwide release. This marks the first time the game will be available on a Nintendo system.

Pirated Code: Admin Edition

Hollowmend, Viridian Software, and Soft Source Pte have announced that they’re bringing Pirated Code: Admin Edition to Switch. The title will be out on November 3, 2022.

Visual novel Pirated Code: Admin Edition is a lighthearted and wholesome visual novel. We have more information in the following overview:

Pilgrims

The non-linear adventure game Pilgrims is landing on Switch next month, Amanita Design has announced. It’s on track for a November 3, 2022 launch.

Pilgrims originally debuted on Apple Arcade and PC in 2019. With the Switch edition, the game can be played in portrait or landscape mode as well as a standard controller or using touch controls.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator release date

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator – or TABS for short – now has a release date on Switch. Landfall announced today that the title will drop on November 3, 2022.

The Switch version will come with a number of changes in order to support a stable, but still classic TABS experience on the platform. Many of the game’s campaigns and units are still included, but there will be some adjustments and omissions. We have much more information here.
