Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for October 2023.
Once again, Suika Game – which has been a bit of a phenomenon worldwide – came out on top. Elsewhere, Super Mario Bros. Wonder debuts at #2.

Daio is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Hamster has announced Daio as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. A worldwide release is planned for November 2, 2023.
A shooting game released by Athena in 1993, Daio has a Japanese version that uses two buttons to switch between weapons, and an overseas version that utilises six buttons for every weapon. Whichever version you play, the game is designed to be particularly challenging even for those familiar with the genre.
Arcade Archives Daio will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Snakebird Complete is on the way to Switch, Astra Logical and Noumenon Games have announced. A release is planned for November 24, 2023.
Snakebird Complete features Snakebird and Snakebird Primer, a pair of titles that debuted in 2015 and 2019 respectively. Over 120 puzzles are included plus a new hint system.

In just a few months, the Twitch app will be removed on Switch. The news was announced in an email sent out to users today.
The app is set to be removed on January 31, 2024. Twitch did not provide a reason for the discontinuation.
