Shakes on a Plane

The co-op time management sim Shakes on a Plane was originally planned for November. It’s seeing a slight delay, as the game has been pushed back a month. We now have a final release date of December 8.

El Hijo: A Wild West Tale

HandyGames and Honig Studios have published a developer diary for the spaghetti-western stealth game El Hijo: A Wild West Tale.

A release window for El Hijo: A Wild West Tale has now yet been announced, but it’ll be on Switch at launch.

Bear and Breakfast

Developer Gummy Cat has published a developer diary for Bear and Breakfast, its laid-back management adventure game. The video goes over inspirations, trials, and tribulations – from life in the studio’s home country of Romania, to ecological concerns, to an innate desire to avoid “wasted potential”.

A confirmed release date for leaked title Doraemon Learning Collection has been announced. Priced at 4,950 yen, the collection will see release on Feb. 4th, 2021. The list of included games can be seen here:

Shonen Jump has revealed that the next DLC character for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is to be Kiku. Following Kin’emon, she is the second character announced of this DLC pack, with a third character yet to be announced. Currently, a release date for this character pack is unknown.

Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San

Nicalis teamed up with Christophe Galati on the retro-inspired platformer Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San. Now with the game having just reached its second anniversary, a big change has happened.

It’s confirmed that Nicalis no longer has the rights to Save me Mr Tako: Tasukete Tako-San, which has resulted in the game being temporarily pulled from the Switch eShop. However, Galati intends to bring the title back through self-publishing. Additionally, a patch is planned that he was not able to implement due to some unwillingness from Nicalis.

Arcade Archives Gradius II

Famitsu’s latest live stream today showcased the latest Arcade Archives titles on Switch. Get a look at some footage featuring Pettan Pyuu and Gradius II below.

Arcade Archives Pettan Pyuu is available on the Switch eShop. Arcade Archives Gradius II is slated for November 12 worldwide.
