Asphalt 9: Legends

Gameloft is celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of Asphalt with a new event in Asphalt 9: Legends. The Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scat Pack with 15th Anniversary decal can be received by launching the game from May 11 through May 31. The anniversary event, which lets players earn the Nissan GTR Nismo, will run between May 14 and May 20.

Fans of Asphalt can revisit the series’ origins on the official website. Gameloft has a playable version of the original Java port of Asphalt Urban GT here between May 5 and June 5.

Asphalt 9: Legends is currently available on the Switch eShop as a free-to-play title.

Skater XL

Easy Day Studios has revealed that its upcoming title Skater XL will reach Switch on July 7. The game will be sold digitally via the eShop.

Coinciding with today’s announcement, Easy Day Studios confirmed that Skater XL will feature apparel, footwear, decks, wheels, and more from top skate brands. The full lineup is as follows:

Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos

The action roguelite Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos is heading to Switch, publisher Team17 and developer Heliocentric Studios. It’ll launch on Nintendo’s console this summer, with a more specific date to follow soon.

The Eternal Castle: Remastered is coming to Switch next week, according to an eShop listing. Yet despite the name, this is a new game entirely.

Marketing material mentions that The Eternal Castle: Remastered is a remake of a 1987 title. However, The Eternal Castle never actually existed at any point until this game’s launch. It’s an interesting move from the developers to try and convince people that we’re getting a remaster, but The Eternal Castle: Remastered is really more of a tribute to an earlier era.

80's Overdrive

After appearing on 3DS at the end of 2017, Insane Code’s 2D pixel art racing game 80’s Overdrive reaches Switch on May 7. View some early footage in the video below.
