Update: Square Enix has also confirmed that I Am Setsuna will be a launch title in Europe.

On Switch, I Am Setsuna has new features such as the “Temporal Battle Arena,” where players can participate in battles against other players’ parties.
Here’s an overview of the game:
“I AM SETSUNA follows the story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible power and inner strength, and the sacrifice she must undertake to save the people of her land as she leaves her hometown. Featuring simple turn-based controls and unique gameplay mechanics inspired by the golden age of JRPGs, I AM SETSUNA merges nostalgic elements with modern current-gen technology. Tokyo RPG Factory’s debut title delivers an emotional story of bravery and sacrifice along with powerful character development.”

Lucky Mountain Games has been hard at work on a new indie racer known as Racing Apex. We covered the game last year, when the developer announced plans for a Wii U version. Things may have shifted though, as we’re now hearing that’s it’s planned for Switch.
Racing Apex doesn’t have a set release window just yet. Hopefully we’ll be seeing it sooner rather than later.

Runner3 shows off one of its bosses

Choice Provisions is back with another Runner3 blog update. In the latest post, the final boss of Spookyland is shown. You’ll be facing off against the Parliament of Owls in this area.
Here’s the lowdown from Choice Provisions:
“These owls are not what you’d call honorable. And to make matters worse, their nocturnal nature makes it so that all court activities must take place in the dead of night. I’m really trying to avoid making a Night Court joke here.
I should probably also mention that these owls are currently in what you’d call a “t-pose”, meaning they won’t have their arms awkwardly raised like that when you encounter them in the game. Rather, they’ll probably be doing something menacing like banging their gavel or hurling their wigs at you.”

A new Yooka-Laylee trailer came out this week. In it, Playtonic gave fans a look at various mini-games included in its 3D platformer. There is one extra multiplayer element not touched upon in the video though.
Yooka-Laylee actually has a co-op feature. A second player can take control of the Bee Team, and is able to grab quills, collect and store butterflies, stop traps, and more.
