GoldenEye 007 online multiplayer exclusive

The inclusion of online multiplayer for GoldenEye 007’s re-release is exclusive to Switch, it’s been confirmed.

The acclaimed shooter GoldenEye 007 is finally making a comeback with the game set to appear on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. It’ll also be coming to Xbox Game Pass as well. However, players that pick up the Xbox version won’t have access to online multiplayer.

Easy Come Easy Golf

Clap Hanz today unveiled Easy Come Easy Golf, a new golf game for Switch. The game is out now worldwide.

Easy Come Easy Golf appears to be a “reborn” version of Clap Hanz Golf. Clap Hanz is the studio behind the Hot Shots Golf / Everybody’s Golf series.

Harvest Moon 64 Switch Online

Over in Japan, it’s been announced that Harvest Moon 64 will be added to Nintendo Switch Online. The game will be offered as part of the Expansion Pack tier.

Nintendo announced a bunch of new N64 games for Nintendo Switch Online today, including the long-awaited return of GoldenEye 007. However, as of now, Harvest Moon has not been announced for the west.

The one piece of good news is that those with a Japanese Nintendo Account will be able to play Harvest Moon 64 on their Switch, though obviously English won’t be included. The game’s release is planned for 2023.

Treasure’s shoot ’em up game Radiant Silvergun has been announced for Switch. Not only that, but it’s launching today.

Radiant Silvergun originally came to the SEGA Saturn and arcades in 1998. A new version was made available for the Xbox 360 in 2011.

Resident Evil cloud

Capcom has announced a slew of Resident Evil games for Switch that are planned as cloud titles.

Resident Evil Village is due out first on October 28. A demo goes live on the eShop today. The Winters’ Expansion DLC follows on December 2.

Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3 will also be releasing on Switch as cloud games this year.

Square Enix has announced that it will release Various Daylife on Switch today.

The game is described as a new “adventure x daily life RPG”, and comes from the same team that worked on Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default. Read more about it below.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that the N64 classic GoldenEye 007 is coming to Nintendo Switch Online as part of the Expansion Pack service. Online play will be supported.

A bunch of other N64 games have also been confirmed. Pilotwings 64, Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, 1080° Snowboarding, and Excitebike 64 are all on the way. Specific launch dates will follow in the future. However, we know that Pilotwings 64, Mario Party, and Mario Party 2 are slated for this year. Everything else is set for next year.

Fae Farm

Dauntless developer Phoenix Labs today unveiled Fae Farm, “a new cozy-casual farming and life simulation that invites players to escape with friends into an enchanted world filled with wonder.” A release is planned for Q2 2023 exclusively on Switch.

Fae Farm lets players control an adventurer invited to join a friendly community and create a home while restoring harmony to the land of Azoria. They can build out their homesteads, explore varied environments, gather resources, and plumb the depths of the world to uncover the magic they’ll need to rebuild Azoria. Single-player is fully supported, though the game also allows for seamless drop-in, drop-out play through online and local wireless multiplayer.

Front Mission 1st: Remake will launch for Switch in November, it’s been announced. Front Mission 2 will follow in 2023. A remake of Front Mission 3 has been confirmed as well, though launch timing hasn’t been confirmed.

Tunic

Tunic is making its way to Switch, it’s been revealed. A release is planned for September 27.

Tunic is an isometric action game that originally debuted this year. You’ll play as a fox while battling huge beasts, collecting items, and more.
