Nexomon trailer

Publisher PQube and developer Vewo Interactive have readied a new launch trailer for Nexomon, a monster catching RPG. The game is making its way to Switch today.

Nexomon is a prequel to Nexomon Extinction, which released on Switch just over a year ago. Read about it here.

Unsighted release date

Publisher Humble Games and developer Studio Pixel Punk today confirmed the release date for Unsighted, their new action RPG. The title is due out for Switch on September 30.

Unsighted was previously announced for Switch back in June. At the time, we only had a vague 2021 launch window.

If you’re looking to try out Unsighted ahead of time, you can try out the brand new demo. Access the trial from the game’s eShop page now.

The Lightbringer Switch

Earlier in the year, Zordix Publishing and developer Rock Square Thunder announced The Lightbringer for Switch. The two sides provided an update on the puzzle platformer today, and confirmed a final release date of October 7.

Looking to try out The Lightbringer before launch? That’s now possible, as a demo has been made available on the Switch eShop. You can download it by visiting the game’s store page that was just added to Nintendo’s digital store.

ExZeus The Complete Collection release date

ExZeus The Complete Collection, a digital package that has the rail shooters ExZeus and ExZeus 2, has secured a release date. Publisher Ziggurat Interactive and developer Sickhead Games today announced plans for a September 30 launch.

The ExZeus games has players controlling a heavily armed flying mech, humanity’s last-ditch effort to save the world from an alien onslaught. We have more information from Ziggurat below.

The Jackbox Party Pack 8 release date

The Jackbox Party Pack 8 will now has a release date. Jackbox Games will have it ready to go on October 14, the studio announced during a live stream yesterday. It had previously been confirmed for the fall.

The Jackbox Party Pack is no stranger to October launches. In fact, that month is when almost all previous entries in the series have arrived.

In The Jackbox Party Pack 8, you’ll find Drawful Animate, Job Job, The Poll Mine, Weapons Drawn, and The Wheel of Enormous Proportions. We have more information about what’s included below.

The side-scrolling beat ’em up Okinawa Rush has received a gameplay preview. This 18 minute video goes through the beginning of the game and showcases the pixel art world and the action-packed combat.

Sixtar Gate Startrail

Publisher CFK, along with developers Lyrebird Studio and Magical Works, today announced Sixtar Gate: Startrail. The rhythm game is planned for a 2021 release on Switch.

Nira release date

Nira, the sandbox survival adventure game from publisher Graffiti Games and developer Baseline Games, now has a release date. The two companies announced today that the launch is scheduled for October 14 on Switch.

Nira will have you venturing through procedurally generated islands to unravel the story of a mysterious Totem while trying to stay alive. The game offers fast-paced building, crafting, fighting, farming and quests. You’ll be able to build a base, hunt, cook, battle ogres, make friends with a mysterious Totem, ride an alpaca, fly a plane, and more to survive.
