NBA 2K18 received a new trailer today highlighting the new special commentary provided by special guests. Legends Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett joined the booth on a rotating basis to lend their expertise to the broadcast. View today’s video below.

Square Enix’s PAX West 2017 lineup

Square Enix announced its lineup for PAX West 2017 today. The company will have several playable games on hand, though only one is relevant to Nintendo fans.
Lost Sphear, Final Fantasy XV, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood, Life is Stange: Before the Storm, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition, Flame vs. Blaze, King’s Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon, and Mobius Final Fantasy will all be present.
Lost Sphear launches for Switch in January. PAX attendees who pre-order the game from the Square Enix Online Store can receive an exclusive t-shirt.

Debut digital sales for Splatoon 2, Dragon Quest XI in Japan

This week’s issue of Famitsu has a report on the best-selling games in Japan for July. Among the information shared was debut digital sales for two key titles: Splatoon 2 and Dragon Quest XI.
For Splatoon 2, Famitsu reports that the game sold 60,205 copies digitally. Dragon Quest XI sold 62,939 units on 3DS.

Sumikko Gurashi: Sumikko Park e Youkoso coming to Switch

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed a new entry in the Sumikko Gurashi series. Titled Sumikko Gurashi: Sumikko Park e Youkoso, this party game will be released on the Switch on December 7th. As with past entries in the series, a localization seems extremely unlikely, but with the Switch being region-free, you’ll at least be able to easily grab the Japanese version.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart. Super Mario Odyssey is still #3 (nearly #2), and the Switch version of Fire Emblem Warriors moves into the top ten.

All amiibo weapon unlocks in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle has support for amiibo. Mario, Peach, Yoshi and Luigi figures can be used to unlock new weapons in the game.

Nintendo promises to ramp up Switch production for the holidays

Switch stock has been an issue for Nintendo since the console launched in March. Six months later, the situation has improved slightly, but the system is still difficult to find in many areas.
The Wall Street Journal covered the Switch stock situation in a new article. It covers mostly what we’ve talked about before – things like lotteries in Japan and inconsistent units available in the states.
